I have lots of expensive cameras, and just got a Hero 4 Silver for free thinking it would be a piece of junk. Honestly the 4k is unusable on the Silver addition, but 2.7K looks good. Honestly, it's got the best audio I've ever heard from a GoPro. I think its good because it lacks weather sealing. I was able to get like 2 hours of continuous video with it which blew me away.

I just got a GoPro Hero 4 for $42 on eBay with accessories, and I wanted to get a feel for the video quality. Thanks to this vid, I'm glad I made the purchase. Not only is the video crisp, but the audio without a lapel mic is great. (It's currently 2023 as I'm commenting.)

It’s now 2022 Dec and us poor folks are still looking at 4 black vs 5 black vs Akaso 6 plus. I can pick up a used 4 black with tons of accessories including an external stereo mic and 3 batteries for $80 and I think he’ll take $70. I’m looking at $90-110 for a 5 black plus $47 for the adapter for a mic plus an external mic. Too much for my non budget at this time. Can you recommend an affordable but decent gimbal? Thanks.

I just found one on Facebook Marketplace for $75 (didn't even try to talk the guy down) with 4 batteries (3 of them new) plus a host of other accessories. I mainly want to use it for bicycle and Vespa rides, so hope it's sufficient.

That POS was not worth buying back in 2015! I have one i have always hated it sooooooo much! I try to even like it a little i cant. The build quality is absolute trash ! The shells are made out of bio degradable garbage ! The thing malls batteries! Over heats to the point of shutting off all the time. Ive babied mine and its givin me nothing but issues, the app does not work well, the Accessories are over priced and extremely low quality.Way too expensive for such a piece of junk!

I found one new in the box for $90. Is it worth buying or should I skip to another generation?

bru, stop shooting in 30 fps. use 24. movies are played back at 24 fps for a reason. not 30 or 60. higher does not mean better.
