I saw them for the first time the other day In my hometown of Liverpool, I have always wanted to see them.
I have seen a lot of bands over the decades, and this show was right up there,
it was brilliant, not one flat spot during the whole performance, I don't think Wayne had to rev up
the audience once. Hope they come back my way again.

I saw FL at a 3000 seat theater in Long Beach years ago. Beck opened for the Lips, and the Lips were Beck's back up band. I've never hear Beck sound better. It was great. Then after intermission the Lips came out and between the confetti and the beach balls and the smoke and the toys and the stuffed animals dancing around and all of that, it was like 3000 of us were children inside a giant air filled bouncy castle. The whole show was filled with wonder and wide eyes and smiles and laughter.. and joy.

They are a bucket list band for sure... life changing shows.

If you have seen Flaming Lips once you have seen flaming lips... Their shows don't ever change much. I have literally watched the same show 3 times now done at different venues. Right down to stopping the song on Yoshimi to explain the Karate Chop. This is a welcomed change...
