Saints Row 2 - The Brotherhood Cutscenes

Maero was my most hated enemy of SR2. Why? Because he reminded me so much of the boss himself. Ruthless, menacing, and you take a deal I give you no negotiations.

The second was the best, from the stories and gangs,custimization especially the crib custimizations.

low key i always kinda felt sad for donnie. he truly loved lin despite the fact she was a saint, and she clearly at least cared about him to an extent considering she risked blowing her cover to defend him from uncle whateverthefuck, so i honestly woulda loved to see him join the saints or something in SR2.

I used to love doing the brotherhood missions last. Getting rid of the SOS and the ronin, taking over most of still water already owning most of it then taking out the brotherhood

Maero was such a despisable character.





Which means the writers have done a good job. Love SR2 despite almost rage quitting at the truck's boss fight.

everyone talks about carlos getting turned into roadkill, but matt got hit even worse since he unintentionally scarred maero, got his hand burned to a crisp, and got his head stoved in with a brick while living a lot longer than carlos

Maero kinda reminds me of Dutch Van der Linde if he was into tattoos and heavy metal.

What I like about the boss in this game is that he is petty, cruel and an narcopath. I find it funny how he does little things like throwing the brick at the guys face again and forwarding Jessicas message to Maero when he made him kill her.

Aside from The Saints, The Brotherhood is my favorite gang in this game 💯.

My biggest beef with this game was the main character could have shot the chain and saved Carlos. Of course his face would be done for.

But he could have shot the chain. Wtf!?

Carlos’ death scene is just hard to watch, even after all these years later since this game came out in 2008.

Honestly I prefer the brotherhood story over the luchadoors story from saints row 3 game

I wish the rest of the Saints had a great story like SR2. Your character is just a flat out badass while the storylines get increasingly more tense and brutal. SR3's story flew by extremely quick, and SR4 barely had a story besides Earth being destoryed

Kind of a weird take here, but sometimes I kind of wish that there was an alternative route where the Brotherhood and the Saints would find even ground and work together. It would have been a refreshing journey in comparison to just taking over territory and growing the Saints.

The thing is his offer is actually pretty generous. As far as hes concerned hes talking to an ex gangbanger who was in a coma for years and whos gang is currently like 4 people living in a shack.
His gang would basically do all the heavy lifting to set the job up and he's stretching his hand out to cut them in at 20%, when he might as well have offered them jackshit.
It actually does show that SR2 boss was in fact a psychopath.

Wish we had the option of taking Maeros deal, and then backstab him after using the brotherhood to take out the other gangs 🙃

This game is a good reason to stay away from that life

If Maero offered the boss and the saints 50/50 of money and strongholds, they would have become partners and work together to take down the Ronin, the sons of samedi, and ultor and control stilwater and Carlos would still be alive.

But he didn't due to how arrogant and greedy Maero is. And that makes him one of the best villains in the entire saints row storyline. The reboot was a total joke compared to 1 and 2.

I’m so glad my sister told me about this game, I only got to play Saints row 3 & 4 atm but I’m hoping I can play 1 & 2 at some point because the storyline and overall game is amazing and I want to experience it

Not gonna lie, Even though they were the enemy, Maero and his gang actually seemed like a cool group to chill out and have a few beers with so long everyone got along….which of course they didn’t… just saying… Maero seemed rather chill at first!

Man, I really liked the Brotherhood, I know we'd had a gang less to fight and the game would be a lot shorter, but I wish there could've really been a truce between the Saints and them, Maero started so calm and collected and even showed respect to the Saints in the cave meeting, and 20% sounds pretty reasonable if your rep was low (maybe if you already had destroyed the Ronin and Sons of Samedi there'd be a different outcome), but man this is what made Saints Row 2 so good, not everything was black and white.
