Shaam 6 ke baad niklo 2 wheeler se hi toh pareshan ho jaoge 4 wheeler toh chhoddo...daawe metro city ke karte h or connectivity tatti hai...sabse tatti railway station hai jhaant barabar trains chalti hai phir bhi pahoch jaao station toh malum padta hai ki aapki train toh nehru park wale station se jayegi toh bc end time pe udhar bhago...connectivity hai nahi isliye bus walo ki manmani chalti h....or rahi baat tourist place ki toh bas ek khane ki dukan se dusre khane ki dukan hi ghuma sakte ho kisi ko indore me....woh bhi jo food vlogger hai unki wajah se log ujjain ki jagah indore stay karne lage hai otherwise hotels barbaad the idhar...from an frustrated Indori

Bhai idk , i live in Indore , people calling it overrated, we dont have traffic like Bengaluru, better air than delhi and overall safe with very few crimes unlike major metro cities, i believe its low because many labour come here for construction maybe that , or rural areas i guess

I m from indore and let me tell you why
1) With limiting size population is increasing exponentially so indore is overpopulated .
2) we solved the garbage problem but due to unending construction and heavy traffic , air pollution is keep increasing .
3) full of Unpaved roads
4) salary slabs are lowest in compare to other cities
5) uncontrolled industrial pollution around indore which is polluting ground water and spreading air pollution.
6) yes , not much cultural sites.
7) Street food stalls are uncontrollable, causing traffic coz of illegal possession on road sides.
8) exponentially increasing taxes in city (garbage charges, property charges, water connection charges).
9) increasing crime rate in city

I am indore resident (lifetime) and reason is people of outside indore bohut log agye hai bahar aur bohut nuisense felate hai

I have studied my childhood in Indore and believe me it is cleaner then other cities. People saying Indore is overrated and not clean are clearly not visited and lived in other cities.

@facetious07 no doubt chandigarh is more beautiful than indore but in cleanliness indore is ahead chandigarh
The thing that make chandigarh looks more clean and beautiful is its theme. All walls and road having same theme and pattern that makes it look more beautifull

Frankly speaking I don't think these reports are accurate.

They are just based on surveys.
I mean indore that has a population of just 35 Lakhs & if you take 10% as, sample size, it will come to 3.5 lakh.

Population of Mumbai is 2 crore. If you take 10% of the population , it comes to 20lakh, which is almost 5.7 times the sample size of Indore.
Obviously more sample size will have more accurate data.


Also, all the effluent people of Indore work in big cities like Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore etc. Then how can you measure happiness because Indori people are happy by working in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad etc.

If you will measure the happiness of Indore, it will definitely be less as there is not much activities because all working class went out.

When my father shifted in indore we were counted as middle class now we are in rich class…this city provide everything its upto u how much u gain😊😊

Believe me, Baaki cheezo ka pta nhi par internet speed is a hell slow. IIT jaise technical college k ander internet speed itni slow h to bahar kya hogi, I can understand.

I have been to Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Kota, Ratlam, and currently at Indore and happyly living here for more than 3 years I found this city to be perfect for business and personal life balance, People are supportive kisi se address pucho toh wo ghar he le jata hai 😂😂 ❤

Na hi public transport achi hai , na hi tourist places jyada hain , ... Tier 3 city like facilities but with tier 1 city prices.
Cleanest city ke dhindora hai par kuch hi specific areas hi saaf hai.... , pollutions traffic .... We will get everything rashes thing here .

I don’t think so. I would say Indore is one of the most joyous cities in India. People are happy here.

Indore has nothing but bunch of Big Building and some good street food that's it . Indore is not much connected with nature . All you can see is concrete structure.

I just moved out from Indore to Kolkata......and one thing I realised I miss Indore even though Just stayed in Indore for 2 years

I think it’s not accurate. Indore has good hospitals colleges, in fact first city to have IIT and IIM both apart from that Indore has great economic opportunities like industrial area in Automobile pharma and IT companies. Also its is one of the cleanest. The only thing that I think is missing is inspite of having lot of demand, on network and connectivity it is deprived from that. Railway connectivity is bad. But overall city is doing good economically and development wise

Indori myself but here people are very disrespectful road rage is very common daaru is very common indori language is bad. Fraudsters are increasing day by day. Most people in indore think they are some kind of politician or they are just wannabe politicians who try to behave like politicians and manipulate you to respect and fear them. They will tell you that they are very close to some big politician and try to rob your money or property. Robbery and thievery is very common in areas like bangarda,banganga and aerodrome areas in jewellery shops. Police is helpless. Basic civic sense in missing in indori people. Indori's lack compassion because of high competition and high cost of living. You can get fooled easily if you are not smart enough. Street smartness is very necessary to deal with indori people otherwise you will suffer here.
