so a new age Quad core will net you a 29fps advantage over any older 6 core or 4 core cpu's from yester year alby this is subject to change but yeah were almost at the point where the newest entry level parts are very much worth it*

I’m still using an overclocked FX-4350 black edition. It’s time to upgrade, seeing as how the bus speed base clock is running way high and no amount bios tuning is dropping it back to the 200mhz it’s supposed to run at.

bought my 12100f in last november probably not going to pay 30% more for a 5% performance boost

4 core processors aren't promising, i'd recommend i5 13500 6p cores and 8efficeny cores which makes it a beast

Personally i feel like i would prob get a 5600 over this for the performance, but since idk if I would be able to upgrade to 14th gen with LGA1700 motherboard(considering how often intel changes their motherboard) so its hard to decide

i was really hoping to see the i3 finally get a bump to at least 6 cores this gen (maybe 4P + 2E). but oh well, still some solid performance for a budget quad core.

I wonder what the actual value is. Sure, it's cheap and powerful enough, no questions there. But hexacore has been the standard for consoles and for AMD in general, who have never gone below 6 in the past 5 years, and probably will not again. I'm not one for core number obsession, but I do think that a minimum is important, lest you want to risk having a CPU that'll last you barely 2-3 years before being too weak to satisfy. What the value is over 4-6 years means a lot more than the asking price IMO.

It's not bad but if you go on eBay you can get a Core i5-12400F with 50% more cores/threads for $140 and for the money that's a much better buy.

Would u recommend this over a 12100f and why ? I see only a 4-5 fps gains with everything else similar . For 20-30 more dollars .

Looks liked at Core i3 10100/F and refined version Core i3 10105/F, this case same thing, much better it's Core i3 12100/F and this "new CPU" called Core i3 12105/F.
I would preferred, has to be a first i3 with 6/12 Cores and Threads, Can you a imagine? A Core i3 13100F with 6/12 C/T starting at 149USD, and extinct CPUs ranges Pentium and Celeron liked this: Pentium Gold G8400 with 4/8 Cores and Threads with prices around 100USD, and finally Celeron G7900 with 2/4 Cores and Threads around maybe 80USD.
