Watching this video now made me realize that even though you own the best concealer out there, if you don't use the right technique, then you won't get the full benefits of your concealer.

PS. I used to set my undereye with a setting spray, which I have learned from Wayne Goss. Maybe I should try this method of yours with powder.

Hey Robert! I have dark circles and puffy eyes. My creases are on the inner eye, and whenever I use concealer, it really ACCENTUATES these creases. What am I doing wrong???

Should I use concealer first or BB cream first? Also do you recommend dusting with powder over the BB cream? Thank you so much

It's makeup season again! Thanks so much for this.... a year and a half later! Got those deep set eyes and needed a concealer "tip" to not look over made-up. And LOVE the serum around the eyes... same deal, dry skin everywhere but nose, eye lids, and chin. Game changer. Now, where's that future husband #2 hiding... I'm gorgeous now!!!! 😉💐

Hi, Robert. I'm a youngish straight cis white man from America. I only mention this to suggest that I check most of the "doesn't typically use makeup" boxes (lol). Never even considered using makeup until very recently. I have a story of sorts for you that I hope you'll have a chance to read.

Starting my junior year of high school, I began to suffer from rather severe chronic insomnia for 3 years, lucky to get 20 hours of sleep in a week, then on and off insomniatic episodes for an additional 5 years. This was damn near torture and completely destroyed my life at least for those initial 3-4 years. Thankfully that is all in the past and my mental health, physical health and life in general have improved so much in the last 2 years as I am finally insomnia free and a functional human being, but as a result I was left with dark raccoon eyes that make me rather self conscious that I fear may never go away. It has bad days and better days just like everyone else I suppose, but I can literally tell the difference in the way that people communicate with me depending on the state my eyes happen to be on that particular day and it's rather unnerving for me. I can tell people intuitively realize there is something unhealthy or off about me. I recently realized that makeup could really help to give me some of that confidence back, bought some concealer, then searched for a tutorial video because I have no clue how to use it and I ended up here. That was a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, now I'm just revisiting this video because I wanted to comment that I found this video immensely helpful and it has genuinely improved my quality of life, likely forever. Just thought you should know a simple video like this can make a pretty big difference.

FINALLY!..I have found someone who does not cake up the concealer. My skin is so sensitive and I have tried to cake it on and my skin does not like it AT ALL and my makeup under my eyes looks creased. I'm trying this... thank you for sharing!
