Can we somehow play java games on this?

Does it have older Pokémon games?

It’s pretty cool but I’m not sure how often I’d use it, seems a bit cramped for large hands

honestly didnt think it was that small i love my miyoo mini plus with onion OS its a handheld gamechanger for me

Finally a successor to the gameboy micro! Actually reminds me of when I played Doom on the Sansa Clip+ via rockbox. Not only were the screen and buttons tiny but the screen is an old school oled so it's very low resolution and only one color so it's essentially impossible to see where you are going or enemies. Haha perhaps the most impractical way to play Doom and there's alot of competition on that.

Is this water resistence?

Bluetooth for headphones?

What about God of War? How many FPS?

As a GB Studio game dev I really want one of these but would like a nice silicone case and screen protector!

With larger but still pocketable (though I suppose not for keychains lol) devices like the Anbernic 35XX and Miyoo Mini Plus around the same price I just don't see anyone buying this...maybe if it was under $40... not sure how they warrant charging as much as they do..

You can actually just hold the power button for 3 seconds and it'll go I to eep mode. Turn it back on and it goes back to where u left off

I have the 'Miyoo Mini' it's still small but very playable. Nice collector's piece for console collector's.
Reminds me of the size of Dreamcast's VMD.

Not sure about the sleep mode. I powered off by the button and when I hit the button again I was where I left off. Isn't that a sleep mode? There isn't a selection from the menu, but this appears to do the same thing. It said it was shutting down so I assume its not using power.

Didn't notice the heat, it got warm but never hot.

Agree the build quality is really good.

Not sure if a little bigger screen would matter much. Text size is an issue on any handheld, even switch and steamdeck have issues with text size with much larger screens. Especially for games that were built for TV.

The rest of the limits are just well...physics. Only so much you can do.

Agree its a novelty item. Though I am surprised how often I have put it in my pocket and brought it along. It really is easy to bring with you. Its great for pokemon and zelda where you just want to goof around with it a bit. Its the second device, maybe a show off item. Its probably best as a gift for a gamer.

I don't know if it was just me but several square soft and other ps1 games where in Chinese and I could not find a way to get them to English.

I wonder how small is the screen compared to the GBC screen? I mean the GBC screen is smaller as it appears. Because of the screen plate with borders. Which the RG Nano not have (or much smaller). Can you measure the actual screen size. Do you have a GBC? ^^

I would buy it if the size is bigger (like the GBC) which will also increase the battery life. Also the firmware UI looks ugly. Maybe we can fix that. And I wish there is a yellow color with black keys. It's really hard to find a handheld with perfect resolution for GBA/GBC (240x160px). The most handhelds have a ratio of 4:3 which results in either ugly streched blurred graphics or huge borders when using integer scale (sharp / pixel perfect). Including Miyoo Mini or all the Gameboy look handhelds of Anbernic have the worst resolution for GBA/GBC. Ok the RG351p has a perfect screen for GBA. I tried it, but found a design issue. The trigger buttons stuck sometimes which is really annoying. I also don't want thumbsticks. Maybe I need to craft my own handheld... I want the Miyoo Mini with 3:2 resolution. I can't understand why the manufacturers produces a handheld that wants to be a Gameboy, but fails on screen resolution.

Would have been more practical if it was a horizontal build considering the shoulder button placement. It's the only aspect keeping me away from getting one.

These are perfect for kids who have tiny hands. My niece's are both gonna get one :D, then break it but who cares about that part xD

I'd love to revisit older titles that I played during my childhood but unfortunately for the same price there are more 'functional' alternatives. If there was a price drop, I would definitely pick one up.

Don’t really care if it has bad processor or tiny size I’m still gonna buy it one to play with and another to keep for my collection. does this have folder system on Pc to remove and add games. i rather remove existing games i don’t want. Trying to decide whether to get this or funkey

Anbernic should have cut the cost by using less powerful cpu chip (up to snes) and invested on bigger screen, buttons, waterproof and a bluetooth chip ...

Video request for the rg nano playing pokemon games and rpgs seems like the perfect device for this, tell us your experience with these type of games would love to pick one up just for this
