If AI learns human biology it can become a swarm at cellular level and fight diseases, cure dementia, cancer, aging and unimaginable things could happen.

To be clear these predictions “look” right, but if you’re doing very sensitive engineering design you really need accuracy…but I agree if you’re doing a lot of complicated simulations for their appearance like in a game, this method is prob way more efficient.

What do you mean we can't write a mathematical algorithm for the description of a cat? Of course we can. An objective definition for anything is a different requirement for existence. Otherwise, there would be no difference between one thing and all other things.

Experts may not know how to describe imagery of an object using the co-occurrence of shape and color while using threshold values, but neural networks do it easily. If one person took enough time to learn and think through it, they absolutely could create an algorithm without the ai. It would just be stupidly complex and take way too much work.

Sorry for the weird focus on this lol

can you even remember the time when Deepmind was the most impressive learning generative program? these difficult processes for people to do by hand were solidified years ago, but language is only starting to get as convincing as these simulations

So we go from simulating actual physics to AI just "guessing" it?

How is the simulation model supposed to be audited?

Sorry but this is not the main problem of Ml and has been solved numerous times.
The model still cannot predict anything beyond what it has been trained to do. The training space is just different and thus appears to be more general.

It probably won’t be mathematicians that solve the Navier Stokes equations, but rather, super learning computers.

Couldn't you train simulations to learn EXACT physics by giving it all the parameters like gravity, viscosity, density, etc. Then show it the a live scenario of how water spills in the real world and let it train until it matches. Then any time it shows you water spilling it would be exactly what would truly happen? So we could predict weather and stuff

what if we were to pass the same results by the AI trough itself again many times? i mean, every mistake made in the previous run will (probably) get exponentially worse every time, but id be kinda cool to see what 'artsy' things it would make
