I really enjoyed the video. It was very informative. I do have a question. Can you splice two videos together during editing if one video is the Insta360 and the other is on my iPhone?

Please I need advice. My insta360 x3 is not recording fine. Voice and movement is not smooth and single Lens look everything in blue tones. Is it camera problem or memmory card not fine? Everything is new. Please help.

If only video and photo recorded by x3 can be use during editing or is possible to ad photos and video from smartphone for example? Anybody knew what would happened if this sticky Glass cover Will go under water?

I have the sticky lens guard but I think it lowers the image quality, you think it's the case and should take it out

I have purchased 5 of your book at one time.or another. 4 for various GoPros I have owned including the Max and 1 for the Insta360 X3 I recently purchased. Your book are just the best when it comes to action cameras. I have recommended them to anyone I know that is just getting Into these cameras or just wants to maybe pick up some tricks. I think your books are grest for all whether it's for the beginner or even someone like me that has been using these type of cameras for several years(my first action camera was a a GoPro Hero3 when they basically first came out). Your videos are awesome as well. Thanks for the great work.

Can we operate the camera from mobile phone?

Got mine about a week ago...worked well until today....stops at the three minute mark every time. Software up to date. Traded out sd card and no change and the same card worked well for the first week. Very disappointed...kept it cool while filming, no damage...sending it back tomorrow morning. Not sure which is more disappointing...my Go Pro or my Insta360x3 :>(. Your book is awesome...if someone's Insta360x3 does work the book is a tremendous resource.

insta360 X3 question: say i'm riding on my motorcycle and want to pause recording when using a selfie stick. do i have to stop and get off my bike or can i use my phone app to pause and restart recording? i'm trying to avoid buying the $70 dollar remote. great vlog!

Mr. Hetrick. Is it possible to link photos and videos together. And not to add any music, but to hear myself talk, and other people around me, if there are. And make the film into a 10 minute film or longer ? I don`t have this camera yet. I`ll get it possibly within the next few months.

I love my X3 since i purchased it one month ago. I use it on my bike tours to record remarkable moments. Sometimes I have 30 clips after one day shooting. They are all in my album and of course it takes some work to process them in the app. But I don't see a difference in the thumbnail version of those clips 'before' and 'after'. Is there a setting to view the differnce between them ? So it is easier to choose the next clip to edit

According to the Insta360 home page:
Insta Studio ap is not compatible with linux OS devices; only Win or Mc.

It would be nice if reviewers of all digital devices checked on what systems are supported before posting info.

That is unfortunate. Due to recent moves by PC gamer and other groups away from Windows to Linux platforms; the possible market is expanding rapidly. There was always a hesitancy in Win users to go to linux, even though the users hated the Win OS controls themselves. Windows 11 has made this situation even worse because of data control.

The Steam gaming platform, and others, have made it possible for thousands of people to drop Win 11 completely. These numbers will only in crease at a rapid rate. Linux platforms also have a long history of high-quality multimedia creation and use.

The x3 is a great camera. Easy and fun to use but opens up so many options. Editing is the best part :)

Some have found sliding a case over the lenses can cause scratches with sand/grit, especially with the silicone cover. I put a small lens cloth over the lenses then put on the cover/case. Had mine a month and still learning.
