I loved this episode when it came out. Truly an underrated show but this is my absolute favourite episode out of the two series

Sake from what I remember is pronounced SOCK-E. I used to talk to a friend who worked a small store and every now and then people would come in asking for Sake but say it like you did in the video. Was kind of funny.

Omg I rented this back in the days of ... You know, MOVIE RENTAL STORES?!
I love me a good horror movie & I had already had a... Mild introduction to just how, well. Horrific Asian-horror films could be, what with growing up with movies such as The Ring & The Grudge coming out when I was in junior high & ending up as the quintessential films that inspired MY nightmares& bad mushroom trips later on in life...
But THIS movie took it too a whole new level?!
Takashi is a horror genius- I only saw this movie once all the way through& then maybe about... 20-30mins another time when a dear friend of mine who I was trying to EXPLAIN this movie to was calling me a wuss when I said how the torture scenes in this movie actually made my stomach churn & were images id NEVER get out of my brain... And oh GOODIE weren't we lucky when she found it on her... Far less than legal internet movie search program thingy she had & we started watching it... When she got through about half of the 1st real torture scene with those... Spikes. And the teeth... Gums...and finger nails... Yeah. I'm not even gonna say any more- since u can watch this & even with the censoring I'm sure u can see WHY it's so traumatizing?!

...never called me a sissy again, I'll tell you THAT much. In fact, pretty sure she never so much as wanted to see another movie with me of ANY genre ever again?

I call that a job well done!!!!
