Place of Articulation: Dental (dantya)

Tongue Position: Jeebh ka sira (tip) upar ke samne ke daanton ko chhoota hai. Jeebh upar ke daanton ke paas hoti hai aur zyada peeche nahi khinchti ya oonchi nahi uthti.

Manner of Articulation: Yeh dhwani jeebh aur upar ke daanton ke beech ek sankirn sankarshan (narrow constriction) banakar vaayu pravah ko nirdeshit karke utpann hoti hai, jisse ek hissing dhwani (hissing sound) banti hai.

⭐️श (sha):

Place of Articulation: Palatal (taalavya)

Tongue Position: Jeebh peeche ki aur khinchti hai aur jeebh ka madhya bhaag (blade) taalu (hard palate) ke paas aata hai. Jeebh ka sira daanton ko nahi chhoota balki munh ki chhat ki aur sthit hota hai.

Manner of Articulation: Vaayu pravah jeebh aur taalu ke beech ek sankirn sankarshan (narrow constriction) banakar nirdeshit hota hai, jisse ‘sa’ dhwani ki tulna mein adhik hiss jaisi dhwani utpann hoti hai.
