call me cynical if you wish, but is it coincidental that the Plus trial coincides with an event that provides double materials?, that fit in a craft bag no problem, what happens to those materials when your free trial expires and no more craft bag?.

You never own a digital thing, It's intellectual property that you can only own the licence to use it; an analogy would be the difference between buying your house or renting your house.
If you buy your house, it is a one off payment and the house is yours as long as it exists, If you rent your house, you pay a large fee every month for the privilege of living there and never own anything; that in time you pay way more than if you purchased the thing in the first place.
If you rent your property, a landlord can enter it any time they want to with a spare key as they own it, regardless what rent you are paying, but if you own it; anyone that steps on your property without your consent, is trespass.
I own my licence to play ESO for the base game and every chapter to date, and can play the game as long as it exists, anyone who pay's monthly, can only do so as long as they keep up there monthly payments.
Benefits/Deficits. Yes, it is horrible without the craft bag/limited bank space and only being able to have half the furnishing's in any house, and not being able to custom colour my outfits.
But I am still a grand master crafter that owns many properties, and does not pay threw the nose to Microsoft every month.
