Qn90c is better than 90b?
ОтветитьNightscenes are just fine on the qn90b. Just drop brightness to 30 or even 20, and the local dimming on normal, and the (blooming) goes away. Since my best friend bought it and i saw what this thing can do for the first time, i immediately sold my c1 to get the qn90b and it was the best decision ever in terms of best buy and all. Yes the perfect blacks here the perfect blacks there my ass, but do you live in a freaking cave or something?? How much more black do you really need anyways?? Are you all dealing with some kind of photosensitivity or something?? What about so many of us who live in bright or 50-50 rooms? When i had the damn c1, during the day i had to completely shut down every freakin window i have in my house in order to play a game or to enjoy a movie, so i sold it and since i bought the 55 inches qn90b my issues left me along with that stupid oled. The qn90b does everything better in my opinion and if you haven't checked this tv yet, then just go to have a look and if you won't like it then you either have no respect for your eyes or you just lack aesthetic intelligence, i just threw away my one year savings to buy the freaking c1, and that comes from a person who used to have the so called ( best oled ever ) like so many others out there 😢. Just so you know, this particular tv (the qn90b i mean) will remain the best tv ever made until oleds get brighter.
ОтветитьThe more i see the recent OLEDs against the few high end MiniLEDs left, the more i have to say that despite all the effort, Midrange OLED will not get you were top tier MiniLED gets you. And that said, both C2 and QN90B cost nearly the same. ven this year with the new MLA-Panel in the G3, the QN95C and even the QN90C wipes the floor in real HDR-scenes (ak bright with high Dynamik). Yes, OLED is part of the Future, but if MiniLED slowly evolves into MicroLED, they will have a hard time (if they produce LCD, but LCD has a niche when its about longevity, bright enviroments and risk of burn in). I wanted to get a C2/C3, but im shifting towards a QN95B, which is even cheaper than the C2 and above the QN90B
And i still think that right now, having more power for brighter highlights and more pronounced colors is better and makes for a overall nicer vieving experience than having better more Details in darker scenes and a tad more color accurancy (which can always be calibrated).
have you noticed how unbelievably bad sound today's LG oled screens have compared to LG LCD 15 years ago? LG lcd actually had pretty good sound! Lg oled does NOT have good sound!!!!
The only way to use a sound board is to hang the screen on the wall! No space under the screen otherwise
If you play in a really bright room, I can get some of the points you're making. But in every other type room and when play games with darker palettes, there's absolutely no question: oled is, at least so far, better.
Ответитьdont think he understands brighter doesn't mean realistic. the oled makes things look more real brighter is just brighter and can look more fake as far as colors
ОтветитьПривет, скажи не будет ли проблем использование qn90b в качестве монитора для pc? Или лучше монитор? Выбираю между 43qn90b и Neo G7 43, помоги с выбором для pc
ОтветитьThanks for making this video. I’m definitely getting a QN90b because a grand majority of the games I play are cartoonish/anime games so they’ll definitely benefit most on the QN90b. Plus in terms of movies 90% of what I watch is animation.
ОтветитьSo at the end u bought LG :)
ОтветитьWhats better the 48in c2 or 50in qn90b or the 55in hisense u8h basically for ps5 and movies?
ОтветитьI've been saying it to my friends. Oled tvs aren't always the best choice.
ОтветитьUse settings. Your welcome. For more tips follow me
ОтветитьLG=Blue Light
ОтветитьYeah, you definitely dont have your C2 calibrated properly 😂
ОтветитьLmao the C2 is not that dark trust me i have 1.
Ответитьwas struggling to decide. no other review mentioned SDR performance. some comments are saying its not as bad as your video shows though, because camera can only adjust for one screen.
ОтветитьThis C2 didn’t support DTS or True Sound audio , wth 🤦♂️
ОтветитьUm yes you do bro you have to turn off the power saver and it will be brighter than that other tv promise....
Ответитьfor the price is better samsung
ОтветитьI like QLED more. Brighter
ОтветитьSamsung QN90B лучше
Ответитьat this point either is great
Ответитьhow much samsung paid to your sold mouth?
ОтветитьThe QN90B is great except for one thing: the horrible screen reflections. Crazy stripes and rainbows. I don’t understand how a premium TV can have such a glaring problem. I’m going to have to hang blackout curtains to keep all the light out. Any light hitting the screen is distorted and very hard to ignore. All in all, it looks about the same as my Hisense 75U8H. The Samsung is slightly better with SDR. Everyone says it’s very bright. It doesn’t appear any brighter than the U8H. The screen on the U8H doesn’t reflect light much at all. In fact, no TV I’ve seen or owned has the bad screen issues that the QN90B displays.
ОтветитьLg c2 runs higher fps for the most part
ОтветитьDo games have to support HDR to do HDR gaming on console? I really want to try an OLED tv for gaming due to the rich contrast and deep blacks but the brightness in SDR and color volume in SDR and HDR is just not there for the C2. I really like the color vibrancy and brightness of the Samsnung mini led but rtings says that the Samsung has motion blur due to slow response times so now I am really torn between the two lol. However, the new C3 and Qn90C will both be out soon this year so I may just wait to see what they offer. I am looking forward to your comparisons on both those TVs. I am looking at the 42-43 inch models from primarily a gaming perspective and maybe a little movie watching.
ОтветитьYou can get brighter than that on the c2, also the hdr highlights might look better to you, but i prefer the detail oled offers in all brightness ranges with individually lit pixels over the oversaturated washed out colors in the samsung, both look amazing tho.
ОтветитьU can see the picture better and clearer on the samsung
ОтветитьMore detail in the non-HDR image. 🤷
ОтветитьIf you aren't in a bright room just buy a C2 trust me. And turn energy saving off with high peak brightness. The QN90 doesnt look as good. The blacks arent it
ОтветитьSamsung better
ОтветитьHas the QN90B "Game HDR" turned on?
Ответитьmy previous television was an oled, and now i bought a qn90b. And boy, am I in love with the picture quality of the Samsung.
Ответитьyou should be comparing the 42 inch to the 43, no one uses a 77 or 83 for gaming
ОтветитьSpread the word, SAMSUNG broke Bluetooth on almost all their TVs recently with their last firmware update (QN90A 2001 was perfect, 2111 broken). Causes the Sony XM5, and possibly other Sony products to buzz them crash or disconnect.
ОтветитьMy LGBX looks way better than your C2 dude. It's way too dark yours. You got energy saving mode on
ОтветитьThis comparison is completely skewed, you clearly still have the energy saving setting on the C2 which prevents it from getting its full brightness
ОтветитьWhat's the purpose of comparing two screens by fixing the exposure of the camera on only one of them? I could do the same video by fixing it on the first and then the second would look crap completely overexposed.
ОтветитьRight I’m glad it’s not just me and my tv then, I definitely thought my C2 42 inch was darker for gaming than expected.
Weird tho as media is ok.
Im confused between them, my budget can buy the 55 inch so which of them would you recommend for gaming?
ОтветитьI honestly can't decide between the two, I have the option right now of either getting a 48 inch LG C2 at 945 euros or 50 inch Samsung QN90B at 860 euros. I will mostly play platformers, RPGs and I assume most games will be in a bright setting rather than a dark setting. My room can be both bright and dark because I have blinds in my bedroom, so that and viewing angles don't matter to me because I will look straight onto the screen, not from the side. I heard some things about the QN90B being nerfed in Europe, but apparently the 50' version still has a VA panel, which is good.
But I still can't decide, on the other hand I love how the Samsung treats bright effects like the sword slash and the tree in Elden Ring (Rtings claims QN90B has better color volume, but doesn't seem to be the case in the comparison), but the C2 has a lot more praise behind it and obviously has better blacks/shadow details. Help ? Either that or I can wait till the S95B (1298 euros) or LG C2 '55 (1190 euros) drops in price since I'm only getting a PS5 later in the year.
4k vs 8k
ОтветитьSwitching my C2 for a Q90B on PC, the green flashes from VRR is just a deal breaker for me. No fix really works, whenever PC goes to sleep you get crazy flickering, have to turn VRR off then on again to get rid of it, which turns the TV off.
Some update did it a few months back it seems, and no definitive fix is here, no disabling fast boot, no changing colors, limiting FPS etc..
I use the Qn90b 43 inch model with my 4090 build and it is amazing. It's made for a great pc monitor! Also the smaller version gives you up to 144hz gaming so that's also a plus!
ОтветитьMy LG is nowhere near that dim and especially in a dark room. Your TV is broken you're fluffing the results for some reason.
