Just wanted to say that Tesla DOES include a License Plate Holder however it's mounted with double sided tape and can damage your paint so we don't even think they exist! I recommend the Snap Plate as this protect your paint while still obeying state laws!

The insurance premium surge just happened to our family, too. We pay twice a year for model 3 and Y. It used to be around $1700, but all of a sudden, our bill came to over $4300. That's about $9000/year for just two not so luxurious EVs with mediocre resale values. So, I tapped into the Tesla Insurance, and it became around $2000 or $4000/year. I know it's still expensive, but savings from pumping gas and maintenance somewhat offsets.

There are not a lot of extra costs, the PPF would cost the same on any other car. Totally misleading video

People had better pay attention to the fact you had to replace the HV battery within 50K miles. That's ridiculous, and I bet you paid a fortune for that warranty.

For the simple fact of having an electric car, you should pay less for license registration, or you should not pay at all. Because you are supposedly helping global warming, well that's what they tell you, which in my opinion is not true.

Most people who have an electric car think that they are going to save on gasoline, and because you are supposedly going to save money every year by not doing maintenance on your car, and the reality is not like that.

Thank you for your information, I wish that the majority of Utuber were like you, that they tell the whole truth, what is hidden when having an electric car.
Other Utubers always say everything positive about electric cars, they never say anything negative, and that in my opinion is not right because it is pure positive advertising for these cars.

With this I am not trying to say that there is not something good about these electric cars, and in my opinion it is their technology and only that, and that is what the Tesla car has.

My State Farm car insurance more than doubled from last year. Thankfully I don't live in California. And I drive an old manual Corolla, cost around $650 to register and get tags, I was shocked. But hearing your prices I feel better now.

Toyota hybrid is less than 15 k + than a Tesla, this should have always been the push since there isn't but maybe 2 or 3 semi affordable options in the electric car market. BYD is taking over the market for a reason.

I have never spent more than $120.00 a month on gas. And she’s paying $1,000.00 a month for electricity,? That’s crazy- ,as electricity goes up every year, she will be paying $1700.00 a month to charge her car in 4-5 years. Now insurance companies and charging 300. To $400.. a month to insure it. There’s no way that it is cheaper that a gas car. She’s full of crap.

Wow, $3.000 a year for insurance is insane. I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT truck and I pay $600 a year in Illinois for full coverage insurance. I know a new car should be more, but not $2.400 more, maybe $1.500 a year would be a good price. These insurance companies are robbing people. I have paid $600 a year for my insurance for 9 years and never made a claim, so they just take my $600 every year and I never get anything for it.

There should be a law that every year if you do not make a claim on your insurance you get 40% of that money back, because you are literally paying them money for nothing, you get punished for being a good driver and never having an accident. I had one accident in my life, in 1985, and it was ruled the other person was at fault. So I have been paying for car insurance for roughly 50 years and only made one claim, that was not my fault.

You went from probably the best car you can buy to junk. The Prius is probably the best ergonomics, and has one of the best reliabilities in the market. And the Prius uses regenerative braking also. The purchase cost is amazing good considering that you are paying about as much as a similar gas car.
