Sorry But Cyberpunk 2077 is Still Terrible...

To be completely honest, the only thing that carried the game for me was it's graphics and RT capabilities. If you strip that out, the game is below average.

The story was OK 1st playthru , but so much annoying and grindy if you have to Re play the game. Even is Skyrim replaying you atleast know some advantages ,
as of this feels like you are tied , games ending dose not leave me whit a good taste for lets do a Re run from the beginning.

Instead of doing more stuff to it , the team could focus on their upcoming work. be it CP2077|2 whit a properly reflecting game that it was promoted, just add nvidias AI at will feel atleast more lively.

Bro… you’re playing on console… obviously the updates may not be as impactful on there. WHat you are describing here is 100 percent NOT the game on PC. It’s incredible.

Fortnite is a bad analogy considering the main free mode tends to be exceptionally stable and well developed.

To be crystal clear CP2077 up to now is not a completed product. Sure the story might be. Which I will say the story and writing is very sub par. But I wouldn't hold below average writing against a game if it's actually enjoyable.

Yes CP2077 is enjoyable. However it is unfortunately a cripple-A game. Which means the developers have never properly completed development on it. Released the game to the public intentionally knowing it is still in development. Continued development for a few years. And never completed proper development. Despite making millions upon millions off of it. This game is full of technical problems. Not to mention lots of content that is clearly not fully completed.

There are also flaws in the inherent design that are working properly. But just poor design for a game. Such as the fast travel system. And absurd use of quest markings to dependency on them. Indictive of poor quest design. Well designed quests will never have any artificial quest markets. Because markers are never necessary in well designed quests beyond tutorial.

It's no lie that this gane is breathtaking. And even has a decent semblance of immersion. Despite not being perfect.

From the inception of RPGs the idea of playing in a simulated world in a realistic manner has been a major factor. Even sim games, cozy, and survival genre are not technically what we know as RPGs But it's what they literally are and what the RPG genre has always intended. Which is why I would have preferred those mechanics in this game.

Having a day/night cycle is the most prominent which this has. But lacking is eating and sleeping. Illness and temperature. Having to actually survive. Starting from scratch with really nothing. Building up to an empty apartment that you decorate yourself. That would have been much better for the feeling of living this amazing city.

But that aside, there's lots of stuff to do. Despite being the same infiltrate groups of enemies you will be fighting.

I think the balance is decent. And setting up your cyberware. I mainly play a reflex smg style. Using minimal cyberware and basic cyberdeck for netrunning. I have been using iconics. But I'm leaning towards playing without using iconics and probably will recommend it. Obviously I recommend to everybody to start on Hard minimum which is the real actual default normal mode. This is not figurative. They factually labeled easy mode as "normal". So unless you actually intending to play this on easy mode, avoid normal mode. It is objectively not the normal mode for this game.

I pretty much agree with this video. I think there's lots of good quality in this game. But also suffers from poor development that cripples it from being much better.

I didnt play this game until after the anime on netflix came out, maybe like 2 years ago or so, and honestly i didnt think the game was that bad. I actually enjoyed playing it. And this was before the major update that added all the new mechanics and skills and shit. Definitely not the best story but it was good enough to keep my attention throughout and i liked some of the characters. The city is also one of the most interesting cities i've seen in a video game so far. But i agree that its a little overrated. Its still worth playing at least once tho

Real af I tried the game again with that 2.0 update but the launch of this game still tarnished my view on this game.... I was more hyped for this game than anyone else and I still never bought phantom liberty afterwards

my honest opinion? it's great, played on day one with pretty low-end GPU (2060Super) and didn't had any game breaking bugs/glitches, maybe 5-6 something like every Bethesda game has and that's it. re-played again with new DLC and with better GPU (3070Ti) and it's even better. I just wanna hear from haters what's good game for them. Call of duty? TLOU? Fallout? 🤦‍♂️

I love this game so much as much as i hate that devs had many missed opportunities, like they could have easily added a movement and interactive metro system whete sometimes we get to see some hijacks and missions on metro eould have been cooler rather than metro system being like a artifact more than a actual gameplay .. i took metro as a example but there are so many missed opportunities snother example would be natural occurence thats what makes the rpg games more realistic .. like everything hand holded and guided in this game makes this way more easier and way more non replayable for example even the hidden wall paintings are pre marked on map so you dont need to find it on your own like why cdpr.. still a great great game i finished it once and now im trying out different mods and stuff in my second playthrough and its really fun woth mods too

ive recently got this game on my pc and i have not experienced any glitches or bugs which you have shown in this video, i think its just an issue on the console version of the game because my experience so far has been incredible

As a huge fan of this game I very much agree with most of these points, while I personally enjoyed the story and it's DLC because I have always enjoyed science fiction, I do think that this game is still unpolished in a lot of areas. The good news though is that there are no more devs working on this game and CDPR is moving onto the sequel, which hopefully has a much better launch now that they've switched engines and have something to actually work off of.

I've been gaming since I was 6, starting on a Sega Genesis. In 30 years of gaming I haven't played such a compelling, deep-thought-inducing game.

The combat after 2.0 is amazing IMHO. I play on very difficult with almost no HUD, and if I die, I have to roll a dice for my character to survive, so it increases the stakes. Every encounter I have to use all my abilities to survive.

Night City is beautifully crafted. Sure, it isn't as interactive or as dynamic as RDR2, which I think takes the cake for best open world. But the cars, which were so carefully crafted, even the interiors, are so much fun to drive.

But I prefer the setting and the lore of cyberpunk. I love how natural the dialogue scenes play out, where you can walk around. The graphics are amazing.

My only issues are that they haven't yet fixed all the bugs, actually there are now new bugs post -2.0. Also, they should keep releasing DLC like Phantom Liberty. They've had tremendous financial success with edgerunnners, 2.0, and phantom liberty, and night City has so much potential for more stories

Opinions... I personally didnt like RDR2 and would place Cyberpunk in my top 10 with games like KCD, Fallout NV, Deus Ex... I didnt feel RDR2 open world was good. I would compare its open world to KCD. RDR2 seems too colorful, fake with fabolous views in every corner. Look up KCD forests for a comparison. Cyberpunk did a good job in creating an immersive open world, after 100h i still feel like im constatly seeing new things and feel like a forreign in a realistic dystopian city. About the combat, man in RDR2 every gun and enemy feels the same... Cyberpunk there are many combat compilation on yt...

Cyberpunk and witcher 3 is the 2 games i put over 1000h into since i started playing them in 2021/2022 if Cyberpunk is the best or even 1 of the best games made i dont know but its 1 of the most fun i had in games ever so best most fun or what ever i dont care as long as i have a fun time in a game....Ofcourse a game that is 100% is better...But hard to find a game that is 100%
I tried a older version of CP2077 v1.04 and vs 2.0/2.1 its alot improved to say the least...

their biggest mistake was making the game completely open world 👎 should've been structured more like Deus Ex so they could focus on each NPC being fully developed with intelligent AI...on the plus side, the open world is big and empty enough for them to pump out DLC for the next 5 years 👌

I do love the game, it has been my crack since 2020. That said, you are not wrong, not to long ago saw 2 female npc's cuddling each other, and look exactly the same..
Some of the bugs you have shown on your video I have not seen, other than that ya... the AI is more dense than a cider-block.
The main story to me was not really boring, but very broken... disjointed. Esp. the Relic. In the first act and on the Chip itself, the Relic's function is bio-chemical, but near the end of the story, it changes to the relic altering DNA, and even that is broken and makes no sense (Valerie would be immune due to just being a woman).... They had a small army of writers, and none seem to talk to each other..... just weird.

The game is a masterpiece in many ways. It definitely has some glitches, some of which you show here way too many times. Cars falling from the sky, npcs freaking out in traffic and causing deadly accidents because you pass then when you did something blocks away before getting into a car, npcs spawning in the same spot simultaneously; sure some bad stuff. NPCs pulling out invisible cigarettes. There are lots of unusual things that will happen with NPCs and overlapping game artifacts over the course of play, that are not intended, but to me it doesn't happen enough to kill immersion.

The issue with the repeated appearances on random NPCs is an option slider in the graphics settings. If you are getting too many you have the settings turned down for higher performance. Same with the cars I think.

Random pissing guys, I think they toned that down, and I have not noticed a random standing pissing girl in a while. They clearly took out the one pissing in the market way up in NW Watson lol where people would all be dancing around him.

I have no idea how they thought it would be possible to drive a car in first person mode, just no.

The story being 'boring' is like, just your opinion man. Anyone finding it boring is still the exception rather than the rule. I had not seen a complaint about it until you mentioned it.

started it again today after finishing the release version years ago.. first couple fights i get into, enemies are randomly invincible to damage, sidewalks are unreachable for a car moving forward, yet backwards you can get onto them to park just fine, allied AI is blocking me, standing around like a sack of potatoes, random events during dialog heavy scenes speed up/slow down my movements speed randomly, the cover system is confusing at best, hotkeys seem to change around at will (draw weapon is alt, then its b, wtf?), i haven't even finished the intro mission yet and i feel like this is worse then it used to be. i love the athmosphere, the vibes, the qol features and additional content. it just let's me down on the basics already so early on. i will probably finish this second playthough, but i sure am not off to a good start.

I am only one minute into this video ready to comment. Call my twisted but all of the crazy stuff that is not supposed to happen just cracks me up and laughing is one of the greatest things in the world. I think too many people are far too serious when it comes to playing games. The story is great but does have mistakes for sure.. For me REDDEAD was so boring I could not even finish it. To each their own. I want to see crazy, unpredictable events happen at random. I start laughing just thinking about it. I usually run to the flipping cars and crazy things just to watch what happens.. lmao..
