Thank you guys for watching! And thank you to everyone who entered the raffle! Good luck guys 🙏
ОтветитьDon't get caught up in the "Brand Name" war. Tool is a just a tool, to help you achieve the end products. The end products is what matters.
ОтветитьHey what's good do you know a brother name aj or major I'm from Florida
ОтветитьThe inflator with gauge is a piece of poo if you wanna put 60 psi in a tire and the gauge only read 25 get with me you can have mine it ain’t worth the package they put it in
ОтветитьI have almost never used my 3/8ths equipment. I always use 1/4 or 1/2 inch. I suppose it is because I have the large, comprehensive 1/2 and 1/4 inch impact sets that take care of everything. Also, I work almost exclusively on my small personal fleet of 1980's Ford trucks and full size cars, so finding room to work on things is easy enough, and a shorter ratchet isn't needed. Seems like everyone else, 3/8ths is their "go to" for almost everything.
ОтветитьI good tip is gather as much coupons as you can that are timeless. You probably would have more tools for 1,000$
ОтветитьFantastic content 👌 👏 👍
ОтветитьYou are My hero!
ОтветитьYour wrong I about the knipox pliers those will will not rust when these harbor freight ones will in about a year or two, they do the same thing in the beginning but one brand will last longer and I’m not hating I have harbor freight tools in my tools set but knipox you can never go wrong because they will out live you
ОтветитьAs someone that wants to get into heavy equipment work / diesel do you think these these tool would be best or get the 301 piece for $219?
ОтветитьWell done. Great angle
ОтветитьBest advice for starting a tool collection is buy cheap to start. When something breaks then you have the justification to buy a more expensive tool to replace it. Because if you broke it you clearly use it a lot.
ОтветитьUpdate on how these tools are doing? how has the XT performed? How about the bauer impact driver?
ОтветитьJust 1 set of 13 PC 6 point Chrome deep metric 1/2" sockets at Snap-On is almost $550 + tax
ОтветитьGreat video bro. Keep up the good work
ОтветитьMy dad has 2 rolling tool carts. Lots of tools
ОтветитьIm so late for the raffle😔
ОтветитьIt is garbage! So is Lowes, either go to home depot or amazon.
Ответить🔥🔥💯
ОтветитьDoyle cobra pliers are cool but u gotta keep those filed or the teeth go bad every 1.5 years or so
ОтветитьWrap the 4lb sledge hammer with electrical tape will reinforce ur handle better trust me I broke 2 hammers same style until I taped them up and I’ve had the same one for 7 years if not more and it’s one hell of a hammer I use it a shit ton on hall joints and driving in different pins tons of shit it’s a hoss so are the Pittsburgh pro green punch and chisel set some don’t like em but I’ve had mine for years just keep them filed not to sharp little blunt and even and clean after using them a few times I’ve had those for 10 years and the impact harbor freight long and shallow sockets will last you a long long time if u ever need a mid socket too cutting a 5 dollar Pittsburgh hurts way less then cutting a $40 a piece socket
ОтветитьWhen you buy snap-on, you support the unions, harbor freight, China . Dammit.
ОтветитьThis dude genuinely got me into wanting to be a mechanic. Started off at pep boys and I can honestly say I love it. Even on the rough days. I look forward to progressing my future
ОтветитьI'm 54 and run a shop in Missouri and just bought my first snap on ratchet it's nice but I have been using cheap tools all my 35 years of working on cars and still will
ОтветитьI bought the 36 inch pipe wrench and the 42 inch and 36 inch bolt cutters from Harbor Freight I really like them.
ОтветитьA mechanic with all the amazing freedoms and opportunities that come from living in the USA touting Chinese tools! Your supporting slave labor, communism, and the destruction of entire groups of people. Your also selling out Real Americans who bust their asses taking care of this country.
ОтветитьHey man I'm lookingbfor done advice my Q is how much math do u need to be beneficial at be a master auto technician and now much do u think math an way level of math will be needed in the distant future in this trade?
ОтветитьImpact grade sockets aren’t actually harder than chrome sockets or less prone to cracking. They often have thicker walls which make them more durable but they are actually a softer metal. This is so that after extended use the socket wears down rather than slowly rounding the anvil of your impact gun. Sockets are cheaper than an impact gun.
ОтветитьWasting your money on the icon stuff!
Ответитьnever have to hit things hard in the automotive world laughs in rust belt and having had to beat calipers and bearings off with a 15lb sledge before
ОтветитьI just use a number to Phillips does the trick
ОтветитьThose Braun lights work great. I paid $21 on sale
ОтветитьYo
ОтветитьI have the same flash light and I love it highly recommend
ОтветитьYou did a video of my oil filter wrench at SEMA last year and yet to do a video of how it works. If anyone needs to see how amazing the JM3 oil filter wrench is check out my instructional video
ОтветитьHarbor Freight has a really nice filter cup assortment, I use it at the lube shop I run.
Ответить$1000 is just a ice breaker. I started as a lube tech, I'm a lube manager, but I have quite a bit now for that. I have the double 44" boxes from US General, and I am full. $1000 is a good start. Have to highly agree with shallow and deep sockets. Anyone who doesn't know, hasn't been in the game very long.
ОтветитьBuy snap on!
Ответитьbut there not snap on or mac! SO THERE TRASH AN IN CONNECTION YOUR TRASH!
is how mechanics act at most shops....least the ones i worked at. Im so happy im not a tech any more....i actually enjoy working on my own car again and dont have to worry about my pay and i got enough work billed out to have a decent pay....was the best decision i made in my life to quit mechanics....
For starters, the icon chromes are great. I’ve had mine for a year now however, and the chrome is peeling off some of the sockets. This isn’t a huge issue because of the warranty, but just a heads up for down the road possibly.
ОтветитьPretty good haul. Only things I'd personally change it instead of icon impact sockets I'd get just the Pittsburgh ones. Some with the rachets.
ОтветитьHF Icon tools are really nice quality.
ОтветитьI'm going to drop my two cents here and say, I have never used HF electric or pneumatic tools. I have used and abused Ryobi 18One+ tools. I absolutely recommend them. I have actively been abusing my old blue ones for years trying to make an excuse to upgrade them.
ОтветитьWould you use the Hercules impact wrench
ОтветитьAin't no shame in the harbor freight game
Ответитьgreat video!! i need to buy all those tools! i started studying automotive mechanics!!
Ответить3 quarter inch torque wrench is all you need to get the job done 😏 if you know the reference
ОтветитьCheap tools are money pits
