ОтветитьThis video is really helpful, thanks a lot for this video. I have a question I'll switch from windows to mac. I'm thinking on 2 model. One of M2, another is M2 PRO but I'm undecided to which spec should I choose. Is M2 enough for mobile development? or need I choose M2 Pro?

ОтветитьHello I am Unable to open Multiple Projects at the same time in Mac Please help me How can I open Multiple at the same time.
Appreciate your Help.
I've bought this laptop for development. I have been a Windows user in all of my life. On one hand I am impressed of the user experience. So many small things makes using a Mac more enjoyable than Windows. Than on the other hand so many limitations. The entertainment apps I usually use works from browser only here. Not cool. Than I started to use jetbrains idea...wow it is soo fast comparing to my windows machine. Android studio also. Than bugs started to came up, freezes also. Than the virtual device manager works with a beta version only. I checked forums couse maybe it's just me being silly, after all I don't really know Mac. But no. Forums full with complaints about M1 and android studio issues. I don't know if I should wait or return my Mac and buy a win laptop
ОтветитьHey, have you tested flutter?
ОтветитьIt would've been helpful if you had included the activity monitor stats for MacBook resources like CPU & RAM during compilation
ОтветитьBuilds on M1 for Android Studio are extremely slow . Avoid if you are Android developer. MacBook Pro with Intel i5 chip runs my build 2x faster. Maybe when there is Android studio for native M1 chip things will improve.
ОтветитьThis seems to be roughly the same performance I get out of a 2012 Mac Mini i5 with 10GB RAM. I think mine has HAXM although the virtual machine is very slow.
So considering this is running through Rosetta it's not too bad but I would've expected better really.
Will we soon be able to run an Android emulator on iOS?
I could not help but wonder that when the first Android emulator for arm-based Macs is ready, will it be possible to run it (or create an iOS-adapted version) that can run an Android emulator on iOS. Think about it, the Mac's new processors work in the same architecture as the iPhone's processors (of course they'll have to adjust the appropriate drivers and all sorts of other things, but still). What do you think? Does that make sense to you?
By the way can AS 4.2 beta make its emulator run on M1?
ОтветитьMake sure to read the license agreement! How many of us actually?

ОтветитьHow fast compare to i9 Mac book pro?
ОтветитьEvery CPU and semiconductor chip uses "silicon" - that's just the element used to achieve the semi-conductor behavior. The term "Apple silicon" just means that the chips are designed and built by Apple, as opposed to Intel or AMD. "M1" is Apple's name for their "silicon", but just calling it "Silicon" would be like calling the MacBook a "laptop" or "computer".
