For one dress I used 4 squares with side 117 - my bust is 84 cm.
I think for
Bust 85-95 сm 4 squares needed with side 120 х120 сm
Bust 95 -110 4 squares needed with side 130 х130 сm
Bust 110 х 120 4 squares needed with side 140 х140 сm
You could do several simple things to give this design better shaping even just having back ties would work. Also using a pattern would add something. The model is essentially holding the dress in at the underbust by holding her arms in but ideally you want to move freely and not be in a sack. Lots of options using this basic element!
Beautiful!
Since the dress becomes self lined with 4 sqs could it be done with only two squares so it won’t be lined? Trying to figure that out since I have limited fabric for the dress I want.
Y el vestido??
Thank you!
Very nice! I even would use an embroidered fabric one.❤
There is an easier way of sewing this dress
EXCEPT your hem on your dress was NOT the same as the bottom hem on your model? Seems, some steps were not needed or redundant
Thank you , I felt I must, do this dress to my friend next summer..I already know, she is going to love it.❤
Is there a video that displays how to make the pockets?
Does anyone think this pattern will work with Liberty of London fabrics?
Load of rubish; thought I was going to watch how to make a white dress and got a load of tuut.
Thank you Lena. I truly appreciate the miniature version. ☺
Incrivel❤❤❤❤
Ответитьfabreeeeec 😊
I didn't know what you were making
So difficult
It’s a good dress! I’m in Chicago Illinois and I’ve been watching large women walking around with their dresses barely reaching their bottoms bc they’re sized badly. It’s a pretty flowy dress that must feel like getting away with wearing a nightgown. I like it.
This is a great tutorial for a simply elegant patternless dress. I love it!!!! Thank you 🙏🏽
Brilliant!!!
This is very clever and so easy! This would be wonderful in a summer weight linen or another drapey type fabric - rayon maybe? I would also consider leaving the "points" at the hem for different look. Also a great palette for machine embroidery embellishment. This has so many possibilites
Ответитьthis is amaziing! thank you so much for showing us this.
Such a beautiful dress! It so nice to finally find one of these tutorials for plus sized people. Great job, the bear looks ready for summer!
Love this, but I wonder if it would really look good on a chubby person. All of the models in the pictures have the same (skinny) body type, so of course it fits wonderfully on them.
What a lovely sew! You have mad skills. Thank you for sharing with us
So nice
This is so crisp and beautiful- however, on the actual white dress I can’t see a front seam or a back seam. The bear definitely has seams down the front and back. Is there a better way to cut the fabric to better imitate your white dress?
Amei o molde
Hermoso el vestido.... Gracias por la clase de como hacerlo ❤
Thank you! I saw some beautiful fabric that was on the sheer side, something like this is perfect. Can't wait to try!
This is a great video! Very very clear and I love how you made a mini dress which made it much easier to understand. Love
Divno! Hvala Vam❤
Súper creativa y excelente modelo de vestido . Gracias 🌹
I love it thank you so much
Thanks!
Loved that you showed this in miniature. Great visual!
I love it so much. Thank you for sharing us💝
Love it. Thanks a lot
Very difficult.
Ответить😂very complicated .
This is simply glorious. Thank you for such a clear video of a BEAUTIFUL dress! I made this out of material from an old white cotton sheet and it turned out wonderfully. I am tall so I left the hanky hem. My young daughter is also just beginning to learn to sew, and is in the process of making one for her favorite doll. What a fun project for us both. :)
