Exender, a fugitive demon who comes to Green Hill to look for a special power to fight, and at the same time, He encounters a blue hedgehog and takes over his body.
To resist him, Sonic only tears his eyelids and at the same moment, Exender erases his soul.
The story is told from the point of view of Sonic's dear friends and a bad friend, Tails, Knuckles & Sonic's eternal enemy, Eggman.
3 playable characters that Exender has targeted and through them he can understand the way to get his special power.

sonic.exe really be doing the mr beast poses, jokes aside we reached the point where the community cannot show anything original, only "innovate" on already existing things. first sonic one more time with the grotesque death pictures, then the sonic.exe pc port remake with the in-universe story expansion and the illegal instruction, then sonic.EYX, then sonic.exe one last round with some additions such as multiple ways to die, cameos of other sonic.exe games and etc, we reached peak and it shows a lot on these new .exe games where every game takes inspiration from the other, down to having the same levels, same ways to die on the same level, same everything. only thing different is the spritework, the layout or the voice acting

Isn't anyone gonna mention that in green hill zone, Knuckles, Eggman and even the original Sonic are dead hanging in the trees?
It also makes me think that Sonic wasn't able to fight against his exe counterpart.
