Wix vs Shopify 2023: Find the Best Online Store Builder for You

How about some info in this vid that is more useful!? This is generic new car review stuff! get in to the meat of why people relay choose one over another. I want to know the stuff that is not so easy to find on both sights pitch page. example? how about what payment processing for each and the ingratiation in to the stores, what the transaction fees are for native plans of each if they have them. If they each do have native vs outside payment processing how good is it, ie dismemberment times, charge back protections ect. How well is shipping integrated and what are the brake down of cost for each and or list of integrated options for outside shipping vendors. How is customer interaction laid out for each, and are they integrated.

I've used wix from its inception. However since they revamped the website to accomodate HTML so that it can be used with android and PC its been terrible to create and maintain my own website. The main issue is "editing" mode and adding images, narrative or anything else. The site is designed to allow you to cross seamlessly between the PC site and the android platforms so when you are working in PC mode you expect to see both platforms being edited in realtime at the same time. However when you go into "live viewing" the new info you added is incomplete or not even there. There is no real Help support specific to certain issues. Its all rather general advice. . I put in over 300 hrs of work creating this web site but its been a disaster and a waste of valuable energy and time.

What if you want to start off with Wix and then later on going with shopify?

I had been with wix for two years but i wanted more sales and apps . there are barely no thjrd party apps thats works with wix. Cost wise wix is way cheaper so it was hard for me to switch and pay more for shopify but the seitch was worth it.

You fell to mention the 2% monthly charge that Shopify charge. Mines are usually about $300 additional to the $29. That's a very important factor to consider.

Why haven't you mention Shopify can be embedded into Wix? The reason to embed Shopify into Wix is to have the ability to customized the website how ever you like it to be. There are many online stores that don't just sell products, but also provide info, services, blogging, and than products. These sites must look unique in order to keep the visitors on the page. Less then a second a visitor either will stay or leave the website. Wix gives you the tools to design the pages in a professional look and feel, Shopify is limited unless you know code. So, anyone who would like to start an online store but will provide other types of content then just products, Wix is the way to go by embedding Shopify into the Wix website.
