Old mono is stuck in the loop. He knows what six will do. He try to prevent the ending from happening but young mono is unaware and very skilled in getting away -and helping six.

Everytime in the hallway Mono is about to open the door and free himself, six will pull him out of the TV preventing him from saving himself

True- but six didnt worn him- you see..when mono saved six from being a monster she lost a big chunk of her good soul..so she had only evil in her soul..so thats why he betrayed him..

no this is not true mono can leave the signal tower whenever he wants and not become thin man but hes just too depressed to leave after six betrays him. hope this helps clear up the misinformation.

Mono is not thin man, Thin man is acually just thin man. When mono asorbed thin man thin man was acually not dead he was badically "Using" Mono's body for a while. When me see mono turning into thin man at the end he is not acually growing up, It is just thin man slowly forming back. Mono is dead, and the reason why six dropped mono was because she felt thin man's presense in mono knowing its not mono. Thin man is just waiting for another child to warp into the tv so he can gain more power from them.


Theory two, Mono is still in the tv and all of this happened in his head and it was a manipulation and six never pulled him out.

Last Theory, When six woke up at the start of LN1 she realized that none of this truely happened and that it was truely a nightmare.

So I don’t think that the thin man was trying to warn them because if you get caught there’s nothing else implying that you died so maybe after mono was betrayed he was changed by the tower twisting the feelings of rage and confusion and maybe even hate in himself because he was naive to trust six. So then when he was after them he was hostile to not only six but himself as well.

Thin Man trying to prevent Mono to capture Six everytime but in doing so, he did not know that Six would be corrupted by the same Nightmares that tried to control him. So in retaliation, he gives his powers to Mono, his old self, to try to save Six and turning himself against his own
