so to afk fish in the seas do you recommend not going above lv 50 to avoid getting killed

if interested in ships, i'd recommend a frigate as they shoot 4x cannon balls at a time, while the sailboat only shoots 2 at a time.
the frigate can be used to kill monsters that will get you enhancement materials which you can use to upgrade frigate and/or sailboat. i would not want to collect these with a sailboat with 2 cannon balls per shot. i personally am working on upgrading 4 ships, 2 sails and 2 frigates.

fastest way to reach artisan 1 fishing for new player, or alt:
if new player is in olvia server (no pvp and server lifeskill bonus) and has a ship, they can boat out to nox sea near lema island (directly north of velia) and just fish blue fish there quickly to level quickly, then at skilled or profesional just boat around to find hotspots (flock of birds and school of fish seen visibly from afar) for yellow fish to get fishing skill to artisan 1 very fast (again, olvia server gives bonus life exp up to artisan 1)

also, some rods and floats require artisan 1 skill (if you like to have higher chance for rare or larger fish)

I want to share my life exp boost gear: 1) balenos fishing Rod 10%-25% afk fishing speed (for afk fishing but it has 50 durability so it will last for 5 hours aprox so if you leave your char fishing during all night I would recomend Golden fishing Rod (100 dur)). 2) Silver embroided fishing clothes 10%-40% fishing exp and fishing lvl. 3) seafood cron meal 10%life skill and fishing lvl +2. 4) go for 6 geranoa accesories which will give u at least 15.5% life skill (2 earings, pendant, 2 rings and belt) its far better than loggia, if u can get manos set It will be better but they are too expensive. 5) maple float 1%-5% chance to catch a rare fish. 6) birthday cake 100% life exp for 24 hr (i got it from a in game reward). 7) book of old moon 50% life exp (got 7 days free from An ingame reward but can be purchased with pearl). 8) value pack 30% life exp (got for 14 days free from an event quest and ingame reward and can be purchased with pearls) 9) there is a scroll too....there a are more items to help boost life exp but some of them don't Last long enough and maybe there are more items that I don't know about their existance

Did you say that "it's highly benefishal"?

Try to stay in a safe zone. This will protect you from pks. It can be extremely frustrating setting yourself up to do something overnight and someone comes along and kills you. You could be losing out on hours of skill gain and millions of silver.

I just caught a golden coalacanth. At least I think I caught it. The Description says it’s worth 5 million. I was a little pissed after my first round of fishing because I couldn’t sell any of the fish I caught but it turns out you can’t trade when you have a full inventory.
