Do I need to change the ecommerce company address to german for ID verification if my organization is in the USA and I live in Germany?

It's absolutely ridiculous. The only documents they accept are VERY HARD to get from the IRS & you need a corporation business. Self employed individuals like myself are finding this VERY hard to clear at the moment. I'm about to just say forget google ads then & put more into IG / FB ads as this is ridiculous. It's not just a ID or simple verification. You need all kinds of IRS documents & business licenses & all kinds of CRAP most of us do not even have we're self employed just running our small business.

Transmitting your personal identity sets you up for identity theft.... Its dangerous and a bad idea to do on a personal level. It SHOULD also be illegal!

Does the ID address have to match the business address? Else how do they link them. Does the business address have to match the website address. I have just been temporarily blocked by big brother following the poor explanation. A million words that dont tell you the answer. if I am registered as a business on adwords, can I still upload a photo of my ID? Even though , it is a different name than the business registered on adwords?

What to do if you are an individual and not incorporated? All the documents they requested are only available if you are a corporation.

I don't like the idea of my personal name being attached to my ads and shown to millions of people on the internet. I've had too many bad experiences with people confusing me or my stores for someone else that they had a bad experience with. People have acted crazy. Also, I've had ad accounts suspended for bogus reasons. There automatic algorithm isn't perfect. And Google Ads customer service is terrible. It takes an act of God to get an ad account unsuspended. As much as it stings to lose all that conversion data I just found it easier to just start over. But with Identity verification, I fear deleting an ad account and starting over will no longer be an option with my identification in Google's archives. As profitable as Google Ads is, I am still debating leaving them over this.

One thing you forgot to mention is that your documents will be in their archive indefinitely so they can use it in any way they like. Your identifty is pretty much down the drain soon after you upload. Dont sell your identity buddy, dont give google an edge- they are already a super power. You should do more research. I think what you are talking about is Google Guaranteed because Google definitely does not do this and it is nearly 1 year later. For most general accounts this is not needed.
