Intermittent, Choppy or No audio on MacBook Air M1 2020 to HDMI device

You ever fix this issue man? Mines just started doing this.. idk if the dongle went bad or what

Why is there no video from the Macbook on the Monitor? You should see if playing a video with sound produces same audio glitch, ALONG with fast forward cutting of video. I have been experiencing this problem. And Apple will NOT admit there is an issue and blames my TV even though I have sent them a video of this happening on several TVs.

Any solution?

I tried restarting mine, and now it turned into a dead brick. Won't turn on any longer.

Had the same thing happen to me today and restarting fixed it. I still need to get the volume buttons on my keyboard to work with an external monitor tho.... gosh connecting something non-apple to an apple device is painful

is this an M1/M2 problem only?
