Thanks!
ОтветитьThe basic problem with Canon inkjets has always been that they use bubble-jet technology which requires ink that boils rapidly. I have owned Canon and Epson printers and the heads on Canon always failed first. Software was also a problem. Frustrating when your printer churns out blank pages!
ОтветитьOnce the ink overflow sponge gets filled, the entire printer shuts down, and that can happen after just a few months of use. So no, don't buy one, they are junk.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI rather your white ink then canon
ОтветитьMagenta won’t work. I’ve clean, ink flushed twice and still no magenta
Ответитьgo with the Epson echo tank, never had no problems
ОтветитьUnless you are doing a lot of printing everyday do not buy an ink tank printer. By design with the long ink tubes they are more likely to clog the print heads so the manufacture has to do a lot of cleaning to keep the heads unclogged. This excess ink is dumped into a non replaceable ink sponge at the back, when its full that's it, replace the printer. That sponge becomes full far quicker the less printing you do as it needs to do more cleaning cycles due to lack of use so these claims of 6000+ pages /ink refill are BS for most people.
ОтветитьI got a printer that has an error where by the ink absorber is full anf how can i resolve it.
ОтветитьI can't believe a channel named "Best Printers" is recommending 3rd party inks. I worked for canon about 20 years ago and it was clear at that time that they mastered print heads. It was also clear that ALL the defective print heads we saw were caused by 3rd party inks.... we never had an issue with OEM ink. Additionally, Canon had the best photo print quality (due to VERY low droplet sizes of 1 and 2 picoliter) and very reliable ADFs/paper feeders even though their printers often lagged behind the "cool" features offered on HP (card readers, big screens, cool designs). My advice as someone who ran a territory that sold hundreds of thousands of Canon inkjets... always use OEM ink! Especially with the very low cost per milliliter of these Megatank printers.
ОтветитьFound this video after I bought one. Still have over half the original ink in the cartridges. Wish I would have seen the video before I bought this POS.
ОтветитьMy Canon iP4820 printer just died after nearly 15 years, never had an issue with it. It was a printer that only printed which is all that I need. Does Canon make a printer that only prints? I don't care about the wireless or printers that copy and fax. Thanks.
ОтветитьInk printer. Nahh i'll pass. I'll stick to laserjet. Am still using my trusty ole samsung scx-3405fw since 2007. Apart from crappy software support which no longer available the printer scanner still refused to die. Im switching to Canon MF645Cx laserjet. Toner won't dry up.
ОтветитьWhat about using for sublimation
ОтветитьThe fact that the G1200 doesn't use a phone connection makes me want to buy it. I don't know why anyone would want to use a phone when printing. Sounds like more work to me.
ОтветитьOne word: "5b00" -- Google it.
Definition: "The ink counter has reached its limit, and you need a new unit."
Now, one year later, ink is so expensive it's not worth it to buy inkjet printer at all unless you print every day. Ink for my Canon printer has increased 50% in price in one year.
Ответитьdoes the canon printers print on CD and DVD?
ОтветитьRegarding the Printhead Cleaning KIt, on the Amazon page there are several photos of the kit being used.
Are those photos showing different print heads being cleaned by using different pieces of your kit?
Second question. I have just purchased a CISS for my old Canon PIXMA Pro 9000.
(Not that long ago it printed a perfect photo using the cartridges - maybe a couple of months)
When doing the Nozzle Check using the CISS the printout of the 8 colours is in two groups, 1 and 2.
Group 1 has 5 colours in a rectangular shape going from left to right and measuring 50mm long x 15mm thick which are all ok.
Group 2 has 3 colours but they measure only 7.5mm thick and occupy the top half of the "band" that presumably should read 15mm thick as is shown in group 1.
These colours are Cyan, Magenta and Yellow in that order from top to bottom.
Is this a print head problem?
And how is it that these three colours print only exactly the top half of the band? The 7.5mm?
I find this very strange. If it is a printhead problem causing this then what are the odds that the three colours are shown only in the top half of the 'band' and the bottom half is blank paper?
When printing a photo it is a mess in that there is a band on the LH side of the photo measuring 10mm and another on the RH side of the photo measuring 13mm that appear to have the correct colours. But in between the 270mm is very pale and clearly wrong. There are also faint lines going up and down on the print.
Any ideas please?
Yes, I will be taking it to the local Printer/cartridge shop to get their opinion too ASAP.
The suppliers of the CISS have been very helpful and I am awaiting their response to my email too but it might just be a printhead problem.
I have bought 2. I sold my first one and everything seemed fine with it when I sold it. But, the second one was supposed to be a better model, and it hasn't even lasted half as long as the one I sold. I am done with inkjets. I'm going back to color laser very soon. The one I have now is the pixma megatank 7020, and the one I sold was the 4010.
Ответитьheyy.. thank you for your informative videos.. Please suggest me your pick out of : Epson L6460 Vs HP 725 Vs Canon G6070
ОтветитьCANON printers suck! Takes forever to setup, the instructions are incorrect and want us to do it all wirelessly which is not efficient or effective. Once set up it still takes forever to start printing. CANON makes trash printers and should stick to making cameras.
HP printers suck! Same reasons. HP should stick to making laptops.
Epson printers suck! Same reasons. Epson should go back to making salts.
problem with this kind of systems.. you need to keep printing.. and weather is a factor
ОтветитьNo man,we should not buy canon inktank, not worth,it will give you a issue withing 6mo ths and than customer support is quite bad
ОтветитьI saw your review on canon printers and you said that they had the best performance. Based on that I decided to purchase the canon maxify gx7120 and I just installed it 2 hours ago, since then I am trying to print one color page and after 30 minutes waiting it printed 1/8 of the page. VERY FRUSTRATING! Now I will have to go through the hassle of returning it.
ОтветитьWolfster001 I have the same printer and it's six and a half inches tall
Ответитьwhere do you get the cleaning kit from in Australia
ОтветитьVery Informative.. I have a question.. I have a Pixma G3202, I bought it day's after they first came out.. For almost a year I had -0- issues with it..
I may do 50 pages or less of prints a month on it.. I used Canon ink refill's.
Now, about 3 weeks ago I noticed it was not printing the red, then the yellow stopped even though it was nearly full of those inks, I seen there was a lot of air in the line, so I purged it by pressing and holding the stop button until the caution light blinked 5X, I also has to remove and replace the ink sponges in the back of the printer where it dumped the purged ink.. I also had to remove and clean the cartridges Placed them on a wet paper towel, used a syringe to blow the ink out, re-purged so they were filled back up with ink.. Now my problem is, the red & yellow still does not print well, doing a test print also shows that.. I have tried to find a video to show me what to do, cause I am at a loss to figure it out, I am very tech astute with computers, printers & most electronics..
If you have an answer or have a video or know of one, please let me know..
I find your video's very helpful & educational.. Thank you for sharing..
I am more than happy to purchase the cleaning kit but I am not sure that will fix my printer. My Canon C6000 quit printing - not black or color. In the plastic tubing from the ink tanks to the printhead is empty of color ink. The black tube does have some ink in it but I also see bubbles in it. This printer has not been used a ton which is what I think the issue is. Do you have any suggestions?
ОтветитьHi,
Great set up video. How do I get the ADF in the rear to work? Is the rear tray for fax, scan and copy? The paper for some reason does not feed.
Thanks
No don't buy nothing but problems with mine I willnever buy another canon
Ответитьhi, i like the way you explain. my question is, what is the different between Canon G7020 and MAXIFY GX7021 Wireless MegaTank All-in-One Printer?
please let me know
This is nonsense. After updates, this printer will destroy itself. Manufacturer server will identify the printer has 3rd party ink or not. Rip. Printer.
ОтветитьI like the Pixma G3260 printer, but no one asks, what is the required space needed for it? I have very limited space on a shelf. I'm not worried about the width or depth, but the height is my concern. I only have around 13" height shelf space. Will it fit here? Thank you.
ОтветитьI paid 179 for mine.
ОтветитьThe Anwer is easy. No!
Ответитьit’s not same ink quality at all, I tried different third party brands and colors are just not the same, I recommend the Canon original inks, price is not that much more and you won’t waste your money on watered down inks
ОтветитьCurrently, I'm using a Canon TS9520 multifunction primter. What can you recommend, Canon-wise, that has ADF, scanner, etc., AND is also a Mega Tank printer?
ОтветитьInstead of remanufactured ink just buy liquid ink refills and put it into the bottles you already have.
ОтветитьHi Brandon - I have watched several of your videos plus doing my homework online, and I am still not sure what printer to buy. I want the cartridge free, and I don't want to spend over $400, AND my main item to print will be labels. Any suggestions? Anyone? I have read that Epson are not recommending label printing on their EcoTanks. Thank you!
ОтветитьIf I understand with the Tank technology (at least in Epson) the cartridge prints cold and therefore the head shouldn't bother us if you don't print a lot, as happens now with jetInk.
Is this the same for Canon and HP?
I bought a mega tank printer. Before lone I got messages that my absorbent pads were full. They were saturated when I removed them which makes me wonder where all this ink came from. Now I am waiting for replacement pads then they tell me it has to go to service centre to have the code put in so I can use it. To me this is not worth the extra money.. I only got about two years out of this printer. Now am considering going back to cartridges
ОтветитьMy question is does Canon sucker you in to paying for a reset on your printer like Epson does does the Canon have a waste tank like Epson does does Canon have a reset button thank you please answer
Ответить
