ОтветитьWay too much pausing. Also over talking the video... reactions you wait til you watch it.. not interrupt so much you lose the context of the topic.
ОтветитьI think all ancient civilization teachers should call the areas where civilization began "Dank River-Valleys" 😂

ОтветитьThe first minute is actually deep as hell, especially the 5-second pause to demonstrate the concept of timelessness and spacelessness of the universe before the big bang. Not mentioning the exquisitely concise concept of the emerging concept of space and changing status of space (time)
ОтветитьI’ve watched this so many times and didn’t realize the Amster’dam’ to beaver reference.
ОтветитьLol religion in your schools, must be parochial school
ОтветитьYour accent isn’t quite as off as one would expect given your struggle with English. You actually have quite a good grasp on the language. There’s something joyful about that. Shout out to you man
ОтветитьI once performed an abridged version of this video for my class of 9 year olds at the final class of history before summer XD They loved it!

ОтветитьBill Wurst history of the world is brilliant

I can tell your Swedish, because you sound like you have an American accent and speak English better than most Americans. Why do Swedish people sound like everyday Americans? The accent is intriguing.

ОтветитьIt just hit me that Bill predicted AI being actually useful (in a convoluted sense)
ОтветитьI know its random but I just realised watching this that despite taking geography over history in school I know nothing of geography but a ton of history
Ответитьi think your students liking the mesopotamia section more than the later (french/armerican revolutions) sections might be bc theres fewer names to remember, its more conceptal bc it's ancient. memorizing names and dates and such is why i disliked history 🤷♂
ОтветитьSo I definitely agree that war has been a big factor in technology leaps. However, I don't think it's nearly as necessary anymore with the advent of computers because now you can work on those same leaps without the conflict. The internet alone allowing academics and scientists from all over the world to collaborate in real time has done more for human advancement than any war.
I hope that trend continues.
I’ve only just found this guy. Could someone tell me what country he teaches in?
Ответитьmy guy is 80% of the subjects teachers
