He has no obligation to recognize any assignment of territory by the USSR, especially not by Nikita Khrushchev. Ukraine was insane to keep those territories when the USSR broke up. The main naval base Sebastapol was geopolitically obvious. Ukraine had never ever owned Crimea. Ukraine had not owned the eastern part of modern Ukraine. The US has no interest in weakening Russia, not with China a threat to both of us.

For most of my life (15 years) I was under russian propaganda. I loved it since it made me part of a big thing, but then I questioned it since URSSR killed the most brilliant of my people, and then I understood it: russia is is simple, after some hundred year under mongols they become mongols for a thousand of years. Russia never brings prosperity, only corruption, killing and bears( we all love bears).

It is crucial for the U.S. to back the Ukraine democratic side, as russians always breaches all agreements (such as Budapest memorandum, Minsk agreements etc.) and always tend to expand their influence on other regions. Ukraine's victory in this war is paramount to prevent future conflicts that our children might have to face if russians go to the NATO borders

As Ukrainian I don’t agree what he said about Donbas area. People didn’t choose Russia! 5 million Ukrainians were forced to leave that area because Russia invaded Ukraine and referendum they did…. There were armed Russian soldiers standing and telling people what to choose! Is it freedom?
