LOCKING WHEEL NUT ------- Take it from someone who had a PT job for 5 years in an auto center. How many times the driver didn't know where his wheel key was, or left and we couldn't ask him where it was. Still SO EASY to take off. Get a 12 point socket.. hammer or sledge hammer it on, and impact gun off... absolutely easy! Doesn't slow me down at all. Thief wont be slowed down either. Don't be fooled. I can take off any wheel that you have on your car very quickly.

It would be nice to know cost during the display.

Heck no on mirrors disappearing. GM had heads up display back in the 80's if I recall and now we have add on's to make a heads up display in 2021.

those locknuts are such a stupid idea

Much like most of Ford's ideas, that locking lugnut is worthless af. They will hamper you and your technician far more than almost any thief who is insistent on getting your wheels. (You don't have to have a lug key to get them off, this has been proven consistently)

Im trying to get my mom to buy a dashcam. yesterday while at her work someone hit her and they took off. this happened to my sisters nana and she had a dashcam and they caught the person.

using a blunt object (like the "caraide" being advertised here) is not the most effective way of breaking a car window in an emergency. A spring-loaded centerpunch is much better, as it takes less strength to deploy (so that your grandma can use it) and can be attached to a keychain (so that it is accessible in any vehicle with a keyed ignition even when the driver is unable to reach the glovebox or wherever the caraide is stored).

If you are over 40 years old, you will be unable to drive a vehicle with digital mirrors. Just like a smartphone with a camera, you need to use your reading glasses to be able to see the screen and make out what the camera sees. Since each screen is at different distances from you in the car, it will be impossible to view each screen properly without 3 different magnifications on your reading glasses. This is not a good feature for older drivers and in fact it is dangerous.

Why have digital mirrors displays on the sides and not somewhere in front of the driver?

These do zero, the camera is same a postion of mirror.

Most of these products are either - something you can't buy separately, redundant and silly, or that are massively expensive. Some fall into more than one of those. Sadly, I can never get back the ten minutes of time I wasted watching this.

Can someone explain to me how this actor who seeming has an American accent can make so many grammatical errors? These are the type of errors you expect from foreign instruction manuals. Is this some really good text to speech? Or is it just a paid actor who is reading script exactly as it was sent to them? I see this a lot and I need to understand it.

The digital sideview monitors are stupid, they're just one more thing to break and the monitors are also distracting. Nothing is better than good ol' mirrors.

A lot of devices to make driving autonomous while not being autonomous. None of these are new and takes responsibility and skill away from the driver. Why would you need to display the front view on your rearview mirror while you are looking forward driving exactly?

I end up buying a merc a class with no reverse cam, so I bought that Auto Vox back up cam, installed it..(5 mins) if that and so happy with it, just that it takes extra room with a small screen on dash. But, does the job well.

Until the camera gets smashed or ripped off and your left with a repair bill for hundreds of pounds. Doesn’t do anything an ordinary mirror doesn’t do. More of a backward step than progress.

So many devices just because people are lazy drivers.
