A short person with 10 jumping reach has an equal reach as a tall person with 10 jumping reach.

My biggest takeaway from this is that you can drag and move the training blocks around on the schedule to rearrange them instead of clicking a gazillion times and I just... sigh... how am I only just learning this?!

Attribute masking off makes finding wonderkids a non task, putting in Attribute filters is obviously going to work how's that a tip. That 7.00 filter is better as it helps people that don't play the game in easy mode

Some of the exploits in past versions of FM are seriously broken

"Just use default corners!" Same energy as just use default tactics.

"Masking off" is basically playing the game on god mode. Sure you would at some point end up finding the same talents but perhaps not during their first or second season where they are cheapest or before they attract too much attention from competitors, also bringing them to your club earlier speed up their development in most cases. Might as well insert 100 million through the in-game editor every season and i'd argue masking off being more valuable.

Yeah, for a game in 2023 it looks absolutely DOGSHIT.

The whole corner “exploit” complaint always bewilders me. Like Stoke started the long throw and it was extremely difficult to stop. It’s like putting your best penalty taker on penalties, or free kick taker on FK, You went your best header/jumper of the ball to be the target for corners, it’s just good management.

Not gatekeeping but having attribute masking disabled is on par with using the editor.

Ive done pretty big deep dives into training and match review is indeed a good one. If I have 1 game a week I go recovery recovery review after the match. Never use rest slots is a better tip hehe. Look up Zeelands training video's he pretty much came to the same conclusions as me. (And I still suspect his researchers copied my pre season without acknowledging me)

rationale for why the corner tactics isn't an exploit isn't correct. All of it comes down to an issue with the game. I get what you are trying to say, in that this is just using something that is OP, but this is also an exploit. I guess it depends on the language used and what you consider as an 'exploit'

Really recommend watching Zealand’s videos on training - this training calendar is a little sad to see, there should be no Rest slots at all: use the “rest” section of training to dictate who gets a rest, but any empty slots is a waste of training time

Another good one is search for youngsters who have agents. Usually the good young players get agents straight away. To search for them you have to add the search 'agent contains' then add just one vowel in the search (a,e,i,o,u). I've found some right good youth from this search

Dude, if you have attribute masking turned off, using attribute search is just straight up cheesing the game. Remove all chance and skill from transfers. I don’t recommend things like this for players, ruins that game.

If you want an auto win starting in a league like England with a summer start, load Ireland or any league with a winter schedule and you can start the game as an English team in January 2022, which gives you an extra transfer window (with its own transfer budget) and like 6 months to buy / sell / scout players, get all your staff sorted, work on training / development whilst not having any matches for like 8 months except for friendlies you arrange. It also sorts any players who start a save with long term injuries.

Agree with you 1000000% on the looks of the game !!!IT IS BAD!!! I spend days preparing my save, skins, faces, kits ..... practically an overhaul. I do a South African save on every FM and WOW WOW WOW its bland. FM23 seems to be alot more buggy I find. I've created a club (Muiz FC) in my current save, my character's fav club is Seville. Managing Muiz FC every time I check Seville's history in the lists it sais "Seville (now Muiz FC) in blue. At no point anywhere is there a link between the two clubs save for it being the manager's fav club.
