I work in a psych hospital. The amount of people who come through who are fully aware of what they are doing and think they can hurt staff without consequence is higher than I am comfortable with. The police won’t arrest them when they beat us into the ground. Often times the patients who are brought to us were drunk and partying, get arrested, say they are suicidal and get sent to us. I’m all for helping people who ask but not at my own expense or my staff members. I couldn’t imagine how much BS the security goes through every night
