Would love to see a review of “PenTips Ink”
ОтветитьI can’t stand screen protectors. I wish I hadn’t wasted so much money on them.
I just take a lot of care & carefully edit the Apple Pencil & the Procreate brushes to suit my sensitivity.
My main work is in colour so it’s essential to have clear light colour.
Need use silicone tips. Great
ОтветитьA commercial with a commercial in the middle.
Ответитьif theyd just make s-pen nibs for the apple pencil everything would be solved
ОтветитьI personally would like the tips more than a screen protector à la paperlike. Also because the paperlike comes with bubbles between protector and screen for sure.. But the price tag is really a killer for me (!) So I also might go with a magnetic protector screen. I'm anyway using the iPad more for writing than for drawing.
ОтветитьThe problem with the "soft" Pen Tips 2 is that they literally wear through within an hour or two of use. They're way too soft. Unless you have a very delicate hand.
ОтветитьSince the first iPad Pro, I've manage to draw with nothing but the pencil. And now I'm comfy with the glossy felling of it. So no need of screen like paper or special tip. Lucky me. Well there is a downside. Now I don't like to much the feeling of natural pen and paper to draw.
ОтветитьGreat informative demo and review of these pen tips for the Apple Pencil. I have an iPad.
ОтветитьThere are tips on Alexrpss that cost a quarter or less of the price for even more tips.
They feel like putting on a Paperlike without the diffusion.
I highly recommend people go for those rather than these.
I don’t mean to call these bad (haven’t tried them), but the cost to benefit ratio doesn’t sit right with me.
Ive been jumping around screen protectors. Im sick of the matte ones wearing down my pencil tips to the metal. So, got the magnetic one. I really like it. Also love just taking it off and drawing on the bare screen. The slip on pen tips aren’t for me. Too squishy. Like drawing on the Gen 1 iPad Pro with the styluses available at the time. Im also quite paranoid so ended up putting a glass screen protector on. Decided to try out the magnetic one and BOOM! It stays in place over the glass screen protector. Best of both worlds!
ОтветитьI pre ordered the glove, rubber pen tips, pen tips pro, and the procreate short key pad, and to say the least I’m only using the screen protector and the key pad now. Both pen tips wore out the same day, and the glove is poorly made unraveling the same day. Also the pen tips 2 wore down to the metal and scratched my screen protector. Not user error either. I submitted a ticket about my concerns and was promised replacements and it never came. I was extremely disappointed in my experience.
ОтветитьBrad, based on your review of the Pen Mat I have ordered one and am confident it will deliver what I have long wanted.
Ответить$50 for three tips? Third party vendors charge the Apple tax too.
ОтветитьI have very shakey hands and I find the rubbery type tips help.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this review. I have the same feelings as you about drawing on the glass (especially since my hands are shaky) and I bought the Pen Tips Lite version back in December and I was unhappy with those for the same reasons you were. So I’ve been considering the Pen Tips 2, but I was hesitant because of the price 😅
So I’ll just stay with original pen on glass for now, since I’m one of those people who wants to see the bright colors! And I get to save money 😁
Will you do another review on the new Fiber tips once they come out?
Wait have you changed your username..? I have always thought your name was Brad Cowboy 🤠😅🤦♀️
ОтветитьI’ve try them. They wear almost in a day revealing the metal nib inside that is not safe for the iPad glass… So for me they are useless and just a joke for that price…
ОтветитьPlease do a review of OnePlus tab 😭😭🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьDo you plan to review oneplus tablet? I wonder what's it like for drawing
ОтветитьTry the new one plus pad? Is it good or worthed? Their pressure sensitive pen looks interesting
ОтветитьHey Brad, can you do a video testing pen cursor accuracy between Wacom, Huion, XP Pen, or Gaomon Pen Display tablets?
ОтветитьBrad. Please test the new oneplus pad
ОтветитьPls review OnePlus tab and stylo
ОтветитьHey Brad, Could you test out the pen for the oneplus tablet?
ОтветитьA set of three for 50 bucks is really steep. Ppl may not be the biggest fan of apples pen tips, but they ship and arrive super fast, cost 20 bucks and you get four. I’d say comparing those things alone, Apple still has pen tips 2 beat. For 50 bucks, give me 5 pen tips at the least and free shipping. Then reviews consider the soft tips for illustrations are still going to wear out faster than apples own tips. Where’s the deal?
ОтветитьI also have the mat, but find that the magnets don’t match my iPad Pro. I guess the cut out should be for the front camera so it doesn’t block Face ID? But it feels more stable and lines better the other way
Ответитьbro also try the one plus tablet when it is launched i want to see if its any good i desperately dont want to use or enter apple ecosystem but up till now i feel like i need to
ОтветитьGood review. Thanks Brad
ОтветитьI tried a magnetic screen protector and while I didn't mind the duller colors, the textured feel was a bridge too far for me. It felt way too rough. I'm actually fine with drawing with the stock Apple Pencil tip on hard glass, but since my last one got scratched, I'm now looking into softer tips for the Pencil. I'm not about to pay $50 for them though...so I'm looking into other brands.
ОтветитьThe packaging would cost more than the tips.. zero points for waste packaging👍
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if you can draw with both the screen protector and the tips? Just curious.
ОтветитьI’ve had these since they came out, they broke within a day. They’re sending me a free replacement one though so i guess that’s nice. I loved using it for as long as it did work though!
Ответить$50?! In this economy? Yeah, no. Even with the review I thought I’d give them a try, but that’s robbery. I expected them to be like $10-12. It’s three pieces of rubber.
ОтветитьI’m using screen protector I cannot draw without it but my problem is I haven’t seen my real colours in 3 years 😂 so maybe I’ll buy magnetic one
ОтветитьWish there was a version of that magnetic screen protector for the Tab S8 Ultra, I dislike the effect and it basically ruins watching movies.
ОтветитьYup.
ОтветитьUpdate your website, love to see some new data.😁
ОтветитьMan i would like to see your animations They look great😅
ОтветитьYou said hard tips first but you had the soft tip on your pencil
ОтветитьHow would you compare these pen tips to something like the spen on the samsung tablets? i know the spen has a more firm silicon tip with a small bit of felt, are these similar in feel or a lot more rubbery?
ОтветитьI wonder if anyone had a good experience with these I backed the kickstarter and had about the same experience as everyone else of the tips failing within hours. Thats the reason why the "hard" version exists, because the original version is going to wear out for you soon.... Anything with apple sucks it seems like. The product and software creators being condescending and dismissive of user feedback.(Procreate cough cough).
Ответитьi"m glad that I am in the weird niche that actually prefers the original experience of the apple pencil on the smooth glass, saves a lot of hassle and money on add-ons.
ОтветитьWhat the best matte screenprotector that's available internationally ?
I have tried paperlike(2) and the first of the two pack I messed up the installation so I removed most of the matte... the second I sintalled perfectly, and it really didn't feel like it added anything to the feel of the screen and it wore down REALLY quickly.
I bought the first version some time ago and they were overpriced garbage, so I guess I will skip this one too.
ОтветитьI mostly use my iPad for annotating PDFs in GoodNotes. I absolutely have use both a Paperlike AND Pentips to get neat handwriting. For drawing I take the Pentip off. I don't really like the residue that the tips leave on the screen, but I guess it's a small price to pay for proper handwriting.
Sadly the regular pentips interfere with those silicone sleeves that you can put on the Apple Pencil to make it more comfortable to hold. It looks like that wouldn't be a problem with the new ones. I would really like to test the hard version of the new pentips, but it's a little bit difficult to justify spending like 50 bucks on tiny rubber tips 😅
Hi Brad! This new one plus pad is coming out with an apple pencil like stylus. Would love to hear your thoughts on it in a video!
ОтветитьGood show, really liked it. What screen protector do you use. That could help me alot! Thanks Brad.
ОтветитьBox makes it look like butt plugs
