I can say that charles dance was unreal to do the benedict bad guy role. One of his greatest acting in this comedy movie.

This is such an underrated movie and underrated scene

You come to realize that this movie does so much work abusing and subverting action movie tropes: Both Benedict and Slater are incredibly genre savvy, it doesn't just come out of nowhere, and what looks like a standard action movie villainous monologue scene is low-key a game of wits.

As a kid I used to hate this guy (villain) but when he mentioned all what he had in mind.. bringing Dracula and Freddy to the real world I was like hell yeah haha.

Bad guys DO NOT WIN. They create Hell on Earth: mafia, crime, violence, murder, injustice, fights, wars - and then everybody loses, dies, or suffers. Evil destroys everything, including itself.

i love how this is suppose to be a pg13 show despite this stupid loser brats who doesn't work (not even a delivering newspapers) splurges on movies and gets his WHOLE apartment robbed because of it (which fyi why didn't the robber attack the mother) THEN in this film INNOCENT people die by the villain. If thats not bad enough the kids selfish desires ACTUALLY brings death to existence and i'm suppose to accept that?

I saw this in the theatre when it came out and I loved it, but I was the only one at that time that did. I’m glad you all came around finally.
