Watching flawless versions of his landslide performances shows how fine tuned and well oiled is his practice and techniques, im a sloppy mess at home at times during the solo part lol takes LOTS of practice to perfect it like he did ❤
ОтветитьHe has very young looking hands
Ответить😂he is so sweet looking a kind man with a semi sweet anger sometimes
ОтветитьHe is a quiet genius. He took his talent and he took it up — to unimaginable heights. What a kind, gentle, demure, modest, amazing musician. He has brought inestimable joy to the world through his brilliant guitar playing. We are immensely grateful.
Ответитьguitar is out of tune
ОтветитьLove that he mentioned Chet Atkins, Who is one of the best guitarist ever!
ОтветитьThanks, Lindsey!! I love the guitar/vocal duet on this the BESTEST!!!
ОтветитьWhat a Talent !! Contrary to popular belief, most folks are NOT born with this talent. Their abilities come from HOURS and HOURS of dedication and ……… oh shit ………. PRACTICE !!!! Lmao !! Yup, I said it !! PRACTICE !!! Boring, pain in the butt, never ending PRACTICE !!!
ОтветитьWell, I've been playing Landslide wrong😢.
Ответить"It was always about the song..."
It shows.
Thanks for this.
Much more interesting than band exploits.
The most important...to have your own style
ОтветитьMost guitarists are self taught…no guitar teachers in my day.
ОтветитьOne string is definitely out of tune here, but a wonderful guitar player still😊
ОтветитьTune your guitar Lindsey!!!! Lol
ОтветитьI have a crush on my teacher!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
ОтветитьIts crazy how a talented person can take a simple song (in technical terms of course, for beginners it's such a paralyzing song to learn) and make it one of the best and we'll known songs of all time. Lindsey is one of my idols. Mainly because I hate picks too lol. Slippery little a holes
ОтветитьI always dreamed of playing like this. I used this video as my inspiration & now I can play this song as fluently as lindsey here 🎉
ОтветитьHe and I have so much in common as far as his development, tastes and playing go, only, I did learn to play with a pick eventually. Fleetwood Mac - one of the best bands of all time. A band that is unafraid to play true music and real songs. What a team!
ОтветитьI had the opportunity to spend some time one on one with Lindsey in NYC.
He is absolutely this cool in person.
Describing Landslide and Never Going Back Again as "Simple" lol,
The mans beyond talented.
Does anybody have the sheet for this? I’ve tried learning this and everyone teaches with a capo I want to play it this way without the capo! Thanks 😌
ОтветитьIs there a part 2 that deals with the solo?
ОтветитьWhat I always suspected about the amazing Playing by LB - underrated, (as you can hear, he also underrates his own playing simply because he wasn't formally educated. Can relate with that one as do MANY Others! Clearly a total misconception about oneself best to LET GO of.)
But some people are simply BORN Musicians & some even with inherent Extra's. - LB is SO non- conceptual when he plays. He FEELS it, he HEARS from seemingly unknown sources & goes for it. You can't get more genuine than that. I've come to define over the years that Honesty & Bravery = Authentic Artistry
Impressive picking
ОтветитьMick tried to get me to use a pick, actually he was sort of a dick. But then I showed him by licks and that did the trick. Now it's kinda my schtick.
ОтветитьWhat's up with that?
ОтветитьNice. Guitar a little out of tune.
ОтветитьJesus tune that damn thing Lindsey!
ОтветитьBlows me away. Can't read music (so would not know how to fit chords together my theory) yet writes/ plays some of the most melodic music.
ОтветитьYou absolutely are amazing !!!!!! Period !!!!!!
ОтветитьLindsey is amazing 🤩 ❤
Ответить“It really just was like” * proceeds to play complex song flawlessly*
Ответитьnothing quite like a Martin guitar
ОтветитьTune it
ОтветитьWonder what year this was ??
ОтветитьLong live the mad genius.
ОтветитьThe reason he's underrated as a guitarist is because his songwriting is simply so good -- people think of him as "above" a mere guitarist, and instead as just a master musician.
Like Nile Rodgers, he doesn't usually get on the same lists of "best guitarist" like Eddie Van Halen and Jimmy Page, for the same reason.
The first thing he should say is that the guitar is tuned a half step down.
ОтветитьAverage. Needs to try harder
ОтветитьA real pleasure to hear a true legend speak with such humility
ОтветитьThat guitar is untuned
ОтветитьLindsey is tuned 1/2 step down, if you you trying to play along with him.
ОтветитьTuned 1/2 step down
ОтветитьIs that a Martin D18 ?
ОтветитьI never learned to read music either.
ОтветитьGuitar seems out of tune
ОтветитьHis guitar is a little out of tune here, which i find quite endearing. A human touch. It's usually so perfect and out of reach for most of us. He is an exceptional talent of course.
ОтветитьThe way he explains his playing techniques corresponds perfectly to the way he played with his band: not as a showpiece, but as a suitable part in a perfect song.
ОтветитьLindsey Buckingham, Jimmy Page, and George Harrison. Best guitarists of that era
ОтветитьYou’ve just inspired me. To be an accountant
