ОтветитьReally I am impress for the good explanation of the process , I looked 3 video's, and my question is: Are you using a normal HD or SSD? There is differences between and which are? I want to try on SSD, but if you use HD I want to use your instructions but on a real machine desktop or laptop after all the video's. Thanks a lot!!!!!
Ответитьnice. thx!
ОтветитьIf you try to install packages that is already installed to the latest version, then it will take practically no time to do that. So no reason to comment out those lines.
ОтветитьThe narrator has a funny nervous habit of saying, "🆗."
I guess one might say, endearing.
I use to hate XFCE and do KDE all the time---- but I'm starting to LIKE XFCE and want that--- so this looks good!!! I don't care about the old equipment stuff-- I"m just starting to really like XFCE.. What is the best TILING script or method for XFCE? I like pop extension on gnome--is there something similar for XFCE?
ОтветитьJust finished installing Debian testing & loading the XFCE Desktop. I want to say thank you so much & the Linux community for making videos for everyone to learn more about Linux! Four years ago I had no knowledge about Linux and now I have my Desktop main drive dual booted with Windows 10 and Manjaro and my second drive now booted with Debian testing!!!
ОтветитьI'm a bit confused as to why you're installing XFCE via a shell script through terminal as opposed to through the regular install? Is this just a slightly less bloated version of the regular XFCE install when installing Debian?
ОтветитьI´ll create a VM to check it out!
Would you mind to share, in the upcoming videos, the consumption of the ne installed setup?
You see, I´ve being trying to build a really light and functional distro to myself to make sure to use all that the hardware could give withou wasting any resources. I´m using the knowledge that you are sharing as starting point. For that, Thanks a lot.
