Why does using this affect crush my CPU even when I go to export it it took me an hour to do a 15 second video. Generally, I have a pretty great system.

Every time I drag the luma key on the upper footage, it remains 'red' instead of 'yellow'. From my understanding this is the rendering but I have no clue how to get it done. i've waited so long and tested it on a very small clip to get the effect. Any advice would be great!
