Does FPS really matter? 60 FPS vs 30 FPS vs 15 FPS [ Genshin Impact ]

Tbh 30 fps looks good too

Based on my experience, low fps means less responsive. When I watched this on the mini player (nearly the size of my phone), the difference between 30 & 60 wasn't that big, but the gameplay experience became worse.

hoyo's servers are so mid they cannot prosses higher fps than 60 to lower delay times

It matters when ur phone is low end with 15 to 30 fps

it's fine if it's stable fps drop is just hell

fps doesn’t matter, player do matter.

I thought it was obvious enough the lower fps you have, the slower your gaming experience will be.

God, this is even worse when you're playing in co-op. By the time I finish loading in, I only have a few seconds to quickly open up the domain request and accept it. Also the reason why when I'm the host, I try to wait for other players' chars to pop up, wait a few seconds before going in and requesting.

I have tried several settings and I can say that yes, it does help. as long as your device does not overheat, more fps usually is better than higher resolution.

the faster the image changes, the faster the player reacts. this is especially important when changing characters.

Tbh i prefer 30 fps i feel like i play better on that than 60 fps i noticed that whenever im on 30 I always perfect my dodges but whenever im on 60 fps I keep getting hit and it just isn’t my style

By the way, am I the only one who plays at high fps and low quality? It's something I got accustomed to due to games like Dota 2 and LoL. Having low quality is an advantage in those games, so my mind always thinks that way.

I choose 30 to 45 fps to keep my device from overheating cuz it damages it so I won't be able to play in the future

This is probably one of the few games where high fps really improves the gameplay in some aspects rather than just having a smooth motion

I have 30-40 fps and its not laggy, cus i dont have lag i just have midium fps and its not that bad in pc cus my graphics are full and i cant choose 50 or 60 fps it dont let me

I tried switching to 60 fps and it was so smooth when I went back to 30 fps it felt laggy 💀 I can never go back now

To make it simple:
High FPS= Best performance but your device might be suffer from overheating.
Low FPS = Poor performance but your device is safe from overheating.

There is a 120 fps mode on modern iphones

I mean with fps unlocker and 160 fps I get one more Ayato slash than you normally can do with 60 fps so

This game gets heavy every update my laptop can only do 30-40 max setting nowadays compared to before it just stuck at 60.
