I upgraded my Macbook Pro from a 2014 version to Macbook Pro 14" M1 and I have tried everything you described in this video for about 10 hours yesterday and even today. I even tried the CentOS Streams, nothing works. This is very disappointing and may force me to return this laptop and even leave the Apple ecosystem. Why keep my this laptop if I can't run RHEL 8 VMs in a lab environment?

What about CentOS? Or Rocky Linux?
