Lancool II mesh and 216 still better imo than any mid range cases

I really want to use the y60 in my next build but I heard that the thermals aren't the best, seeing as the gpu is pressed up really close to the glass.

I dont know what case to choose im getting an MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio, ryzen 7 78003D, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 2x 32 gb ram, NZXT kraken 240 Cooler (white with rgb), Corsair RME850 80+ gold, ASRock B650M Pro RS with wifi and the Kingston KC3000 2 TB storage i am kinds considering the NZXT H5 flow case but idk if the psrts fit i dont know much about computers i just want something that keeps it efficiently chill but it HAS to be cool

I purchased the Corsair Premium Build Kit back in August, with the 5000D Airflow case and I love it. I loved putting it together and learning the ins and outs of optimizing the Nvidia RTX 4090 FE to get the best results for 4K gaming.

I have a Lian Li Lancool 2. It replaced a cheap Sharkoon case that came with my prebuilt system. It has been upgraded over the years with Lian Li Uni Fans, coloured cables and a red dragon. But I need to upgrade to a better mboard etc.
As I have physical limitations, lifting or even holding parts, the Lancool2 was great with the hinged door. But an odd issue arose. The 'front' IO and power switch are on the top. Unhandy for me with the case sitting by my side, but fun for my cat who sits on it and presses the power or reset buttons at the most inopportune moments.

So my next case will be, I think the Lian Li 216. I lose the door into the case. But I gain an IO combo that can be fitted low down on the corner of the case. And whilst the O11s have better cable management, the 216 is not far behind and far better than the Lancool 2. And the 216 comes with massive ARGB fans.

So unless anyone has a better suggestion, my only choice left is Black or White.

Glad Thermaltake actually listened to the customers and made the option for fully vented sides instead of the 2/3 glass sides on the t100 that didn't accept any sort of fans or rads besides the top and bottom. Even running LOUD industrial grade 2000rpm 140mm bottom intake-top exhaust full speed left that one in thermal throttle in normal use. I did have a trick, though. Installing top fan on the underside of the baffle instead of upperside as it is stock, gives room for the exhaust to flow unrestricted out the cable holes and did help thermals more than I thought it would. Also see little point in a filter on the backside exhaust. It's for exhaust.

Serious question. If all the PC tubers on here rate the Desktops by the same method of airflow sound space heat etc, why does everyone have a different top choice? I would love to see a group of all of you get together and pick the best small medium and large case in agreement.

The 4000d is total junk. I was cleaning my granddaughters PC and when I unscrewed the screws holding the glass in and barley pulled to loosen it it literally exploded glass everywhere. Not tempered very fragile.

I have built in montech sky one & two (two is more refined and easier build despite being cheaoer at time of purchase) , still own a few older nzxt SWITCH 810 , PHANTOM 820 newest being H710 housing an older i9 9900K build , my newer builds are in some corsair 4000 ,2x 5000D , 7000D and 7000X, i also have a few older itx builds using silverstone rvz03 & Sugo SG15 , these work very well despite their own limitations

How do I get the pc centric?

an epic lack of 420 support for this list, and the one that does have it, is not one of those cases that has great airflow-in in the side, top and bottom (really, only like two of those are even on this list). oh well.

The problem with the Corsair 4000D is the lack of Front IO (only one usb type A and a combined audio/mic jack)

I have the tower 200, packed it with B650m msi motar, 7950x,4090, nzxt Elite, 192 gb ram and 2 m.2 ( got to plan out the cable management ahead because the 4090 leaves only a small room to wrap the cords under it. runs at 87-80c for cpu and gpu never goes over 40c)

Too many modern cases are ruined for me by having a windowed panel. I want a solid panel, not something that's going to display a carnival's worth of lights while I'm trying to focus on actually using it. I really like how a lot of these RGB cases look, but I'd never personally want one. The Lancool 216 would be perfect if not for the side panel...

Using the Cooler master haf 700. It's a big boy of a case and while I prefer mid towers but for expandability and future proofing the haf 700 in my opinion is the way to go. You can literally fit anything inside this case.

Deepcool cc360/560 ARGB gotta be up there when it comes to budget/good cases. Maybe i'm mistaken, I haven't personally worked on em myself.

I've been battling amongst all form factors and currently use a thermaltake core v1, so when I saw you had The Tower 200 setup I just had to investigate, might be staying with TT at this rate!
