I feel like I’m John wick playing this game I love how I can go through almost every leave and not be detected but leave no soul behind or restart encounter and try something new more flashy so many cool mechanics in this game

I'm an old man, I was never super fast in reflexes even when young, and I am clumsy with a controller. I doubt I would never be able to complete the game on survivor mode. 😔

Damn didn’t realize there were custom settings. I want things as hard as possible, but I absolute fucking despise looting for hours in this game, it’s just not fun.

Just recently bought this game and did a couple playthroughs on Moderate but went straight to Grounded. Wasn’t that hard tbh. Now I’m just playing on Moderate again with Permadeath added.

Reason to play LOU2 on survivor:
Stress and satisfactory after each chapter

me being the type of person to not replay games, i will always exclusively play games first time through on the hardest difficulty available, and after watching this vid im glad i pulled through survivor because this game was anything but easy and had me playing sections tooth and nail with under 5 bullets for all my weapons majority of the time lol

i’m currently playing survivor after only playing moderate to hard, and i’ve been away from the game for a couple months… needless to say i’m struggling

im stealthy mostly and only guns blaze when necessary but im very good tactically

I see Grounded didnt exist during this video. Well now that one is the difficulty to go because it is simply so very realistic.

I played this game on hard and struggled with 1 part, the massive area with many houses after finding the bow. It took me so many restarts 😂

I played it on normal, hard, survivor and grounded, and survivor was definitely the most fun run. Unlike on grounded, you still have all gameplay elements and you're never locked into a certain approach due to your ridiculous lack of tools (there's almost nothing to loot on grounded), but you do have to be resourceful, cautious, alert and really trust your abilities. Every enemy is as deadly as you, so you really need to outsmart and outmanoeuvre your foes. Makes every encounter as tense as the world/narrative would have you think and it makes scavenging and decision making re which fights to pick, which to avoid, when to run etc really relevant and engaging.

I never played in survivor, always went straight into Grounded mode right after my first play-through in normal mode.

Hard is the best difficult for the first playthrough. It isn't that hard (ironically) and fighting the AI is pretty fun and challenging. The only think I didn't like is the abundance of resources. It isn't as ridiculous as in moderate but there are just too many of them, and I often found myself with my backpack full and unable to craft more items.

Tip number 1 when playing on survivor.
NEVER ENGAGE WITH AN ENEMY USING HANDS OR ELLIES KNIFE. YOU WILL GET OVER RUNNED BY THE TIME YOU KILL THAT PERSON WITH MELEE.

And now they have grounded, now that’s what I call a challenge

Playing survivor after grounded is so much fun. It's super easy and you get to go crazy all the time

Survivor mode is just realistic mod but disguised.

Im sorta cheating and im gonna get all the upgrades for Ellie and Strong woman and then i might play Grounded or just Survivor

Yeah survivor is definitely the best difficulty. Anything lower is too easy and grounded is not fun level difficult.

This game's level of difficulty was trash for example why would they lower the IQ of your allies as you increase the level of difficulty
also why would enemies keep walking toward you while aiming on survival difficulty that's so unrealistic cu in real time people take cover then shoot each ones

I think this is one of those games that requires 3-4 playthroughs to get most of it. It would be easy to walk through the game just looking at the scenery it's stunning. So starting out on moderate and then going to survivor or even permadeath after one isn't a rookie anymore.

Wish they would get rid of difficulty levels. It’s such a primitive setting. This is why I play souls games

Currently playing on hard with no reticle, and it is so fun. Still have stuff like listen mode and HUD, but having no defined place to aim makes it so much more realistic to the experience of the actual characters, and makes ever shot hit so much more valuable and rewarding.

I’m playing on survivor after playing on easy twice but on survivor I’m using unlimited ammo cheat and it’s definitely still hard

I played the game in hard difficulty and by the end of the game I had full inventory and ammo, so that was the sign to go ahead and play it on survivor, I thought it wouldn't be too different. Turns out, it's way more difficult, which makes it WAY more fun and scary!
