is core I5 12th gen 12600k is good for gaming ?

What is your opinion of how well the a750 or A770 work together with intel integrated unit for video editing. Intel makes some special claims about the combo. But does it really help?

I'm assuming it's the same for 13th gen. but what if you're using something like the RTX 4080? wont' than handle all decoding just fine? even 10bit?

My Intel NUC has the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1240P. Performance with Lightroom Classic Denoise AI is terrible - it takes 5 min to process a single Canon CR3 raw file, compared to under 15 seconds with an RTX 3080 card per tests on the Fred Miranda site. I'm looking to switch to a DIY PC with 3080. (Mac Mini M2's 256GB is slow.)

Why would we need built-in GPU where we can use dedicated GPU? I use Resolve.

I don’t see how the KF version is bad if you are pairing it with a GPU.

I always take the f gpu for one reason. Software issues when you have the igpu.

I can see Intel has good encoders. But GPU not sure what for if you have NVIDIA. I dont think Intel iGPU supports CUDA to distribute load. But codecs are a huge boost.

Such A Misleading Video. Intel Boards Can't Use Both Integrated Graphics and GPU Grapbics Together. So KF or F Processor With A Nvidia 8 GB Vram GPU is A fantastic Setup For 4k Video Editing. Not A Single Professional Use A PC Without Graphic Cards So The Integrated GPU Will Remain Unused.

If I have the F model of CPU but I buy Intel Arc GPU for install with Nvidia GPU, does it's will be better than iGPU? Can them work together?

Now i turn off igbu cause preimere uses it more than nividea gbu and it make playback so laggy
After i turned off my playback work better

I bought the CPU 13600K. I followed this recommendation - only K variant. But then I found out that Resolve with intel iGPU can't be used at all?! I can't even turn on the iGPU in settings. Hmmm

Regardless of what generation, you should always check to see if the CPU includes processor graphics! Intel has been doing this since about the Intel Core 2000-series CPUs which some (such as the K and X models) didn't have integrated graphics.

I used the same criteria for narrowing down my search for i7 CPUs, I got down to two gen 12s and only one gen 13. It'd be crazy not to get a CPU with built in GPU capabilities. I don't know what people do if their graphics card fails. They won't be able to do anything with their computer, not even do some diagnostics to see if it is just their graphics card that's faulty.
I wish it were so easy to search through motherboards.

But if you're producing professional output and want lower file sizes with better quality then you should be using software encoding anyway.
