what a great video! another tip - I also land up saving up on unnecessary expenses like atm fees etc in Mexico - using apps like ATM Fee Saver - it helps find atms abroad with no fees or lower fees than others along with withdrawal limits etc. worth adding to your list of tricks!

First time going to Cancun, I am confused with many hotels around the area, we are late sixty's, enjoy the beaches and shopping. We are rookies in Mexico, loved Hawaii, but I know it's a different world.

Im use to nyc and new orleans. So dangerous in America is something i know how to navigate. Its what happens when you have family from the streets. Howevet, when in another country, i wish to respect the beast that im not familiar with. Ive traveled to orher countries and understand different strokes for different folks. Im not the type to live in fear. Ive survived 3 cancers, i dvt, 7 stents and 1 serous covid situation. Ive also survived 9/11 tower 1. Fir the love of God lol.... i just need a vacation w minimal drama.

Big tip; Once you get to the "fishbowl" at the airport, Keep your eyes on the door in front of you and do not talk to anyone until you get outside to be picked up by your cab.

The carry-on is great but not for a week, I will never be a light packer me or my husband and we are prior military spending time deployed and in the fields. If we might need it we would rather have it and not spend time on vacation washing and can’t really wear thing twice when sweating. Freaking out about Mexico with all the shooting in the US, I have family from Mexico.
