Thank you. Thank you. This stopped my beating myself up again. I can continue to learn and practice to bring my communication skills to a similar level to my more natural talents. 😊😊
ОтветитьI would love suggestions on "small talk" phrases. As an INTP, I struggle with knowing what to say to a coworker as we pass in the hall, for example. I love serious conversations and talking about ideas. I don't particularly feel that I struggle with listening, empathizing, or difficult conversations. It's the easy ones that are hard! Ha!
ОтветитьMaking money is just a game, and people who learned this game made millions and billions.... Learn the money game and ger RICH !~~
ОтветитьThis video was completely pointless.

Ответитьyour channel and your videos are very helpful. do you know any apps or course to improve business communication? especially being more articulate or how to speak your thoughts more clearly? thanks
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI’m learning so much 👍
ОтветитьIt is definitely a skill and one that I needed to have in an environment with sick individuals where if one does not have communication skills the consequences would be very quickly felt.
The brain likes patterns and unfortunately will end up as I call it the 'pingball' conversation. .. ''you're an asshole''
''No, I am not you are the asshole.''
And this is most people's default especially when challenged - a reacton based on ego and little on empathy. I learnt to create a new default by being calm and just actively listening and from there I can choose to label or paraphrase or whatever but the default needs to be changed because if the default is not changed then everything else is just theory.
No more vids?
Ответитьyou are great sir
ОтветитьI'm 38 and my communication skills suck. I never had someone to have a good conversation. That's why i can't have any progress in my life.
ОтветитьThis video was very helpful, I struggle to communicate with people and it makes me really annoyed. Your video inspired me to start taking action and to improve my communication skills, thank you
ОтветитьYT brought me here to your channel and I am definitely binging!
Subing to your channel and looking forward to learning more of your awesome knowledge!
It’s so good to have found your channel.
I started a career in Sales this year 2021 and I love it but I need help with communication. Someone recommended Dale to me but I began to search and came across your channel.
Your videos are so great. I am a therapist and counselor at an in-patient treatment facility and teach a Healthy Communication course and I use various videos, including yours. I have a question that I could use your guidance on. What would you suggest I tell my patients that are interacting with someone who does not have good communication skills. Meaning, they have learned how to communicate much more effectively but their partner, family member, or friend is not a good communicator?? How do you suggest they have courageous conversations with people who have not learned healthy communication skills?
ОтветитьThank you! So helpful! Do you have a video about what to do when you are in a social event where you don't know that many people? I find it hard when I am in a room with many people. I don't know who to approach. Or another is, when I am talking to a person and I am not interested in the topic, how do I politely end the conversation?
ОтветитьHello i have a problem.
When i see videos for in-persons akwards or something like that. They ussualy have more enfacis in the first meet or freends.
And theres my problem. What if you wabt to tal to a person that you already talk probably years ago and then you have only little conversations.
What if in that years this person change that much that you dont know to talk to him enymore. How can you have like a "second first meeting" without be wiered?
Love your videos. I learnt a lot from Chris Voss and you.
