How Lyudmila got Into shooting was partially correct, her neighbors son thought she would be a poor shot, so they went to the local Civil Shooting range at the carnival, who hosted it. Her score was 47 of 50, which was seen by Commander Rector of her school in Kyiv State University in 1951, which they sent her to a 6 month marksmanship course, before sent on the 2nd front of Eastern Russia.

After hearing how Lyudmila got to meet Eleanor in private
Lyudmila needed Eleanor and nothing was going to stop the two friends, not even the political forces of their two nations. Their friendship is likely what saved Lyudmila's life enough for her to live as long as she had post-war. Many WWII heroes on all sides went to their deaths even earlier then Lyudmila due to the lack of mental health understanding. She was blessed to have such a friend in the former First Lady.

This would make a great movie. However, I just know Hollywood with mess it up in more ways than one. Also may never be greenlit with the current conflict much like anything on the Night Witches.

Bullets don't "rise" after being fired. They can be lobbed upwards, but they don't rise out of the barrel
