Don't Play Genshin Impact on iPhone 13 Mini

After install and download Genshin impact my iphone 13 pro got damage in battery life..100% capacity before installing the game now it's 88%..😢😢

This is plain stupid, why would you expect a tiny phone like this will handle all that heat from that chip? If you set the game into the recommended settings or even lower them and set 60FPS, it runs absolutely perfect.

my poco that had gaming SOC and advertised liquid cooling also had the same thermal issues, the phone is physically bigger too to bigger thermal headroom but still genshin doesn't run that smooth and fps goes down

that waterfall is pretty much intensive
you could have gone in another places too

I play using low power mode on iPhone 12 mini, adjusted the graphics but maintained 60fps, no throttle it seems, and I think iPhone 13 mini could have fared better if you adjusted the graphics to less than "overclocked"

I have a question for iPhone gamers.
Why would you set everything on highest possible on the first place to begin with?
Have a chill.

At homes we don't play on overclocked settings.
So its all good, an iPhone is way better than most Androids in terms of gaming. Unless you bringing flagships into the scene.

Aaand if you have setup at home like this, where you can connect a controller, you can also buy a cooler. They come real cheap.
No way then your phone is going to lag.

I’m planning to get an iPhone 13 mini, but as I already play on the lowest settings (but at 60fps) on my iPhone SE 2nd gen to preserve battery life and it looks good enough and stays at almost a stable 60fps, so I think throttling won’t be as big of an issue as I’ll just continue to play on low settings

I personally always put the lowest setting on all of the games I play to keep my phone safe and the battery life last longer because I always prioritize smooth gameplay than fancy effects.

I personally played genshin impact on an iPhone 13 mini and didn’t experience any issues with throttling whatsoever, I did use the default graphics that the system chooses for you, so it wasn’t max graphics but just lower the graphics a tad bit and the problem is fixed, you’ll still have a great experience on the game unless you put the graphics to the lowest possible then maybe not

I put everything low-middle graphic so genshin impact would not kill my phone. I keep everything setting fit in the green space.

Well also iphone 13 mini is not build for gaming especially heavy game like Genshin, yes it can handle it but the battery gonna runs out fast so for those of you who wanted to buy this phone for playing genshin impact I DON'T recommend it save more money and go for 13 pro max

FACT : the OG PS4 runs Genshin Impact on MID setting and have some glitches
this game is so demanding

This game was designed in unity from 2017 so the engine wasn't optimized much at that point for mobile or pc so expect frame rate drops. Also locking ur fps to 24/30 will reduce the heat. As well as reducing settings to medium or putting shadows on low. Shadow processing is hard on any gpu

Great testing! For this iPhone I think lowering a bit the graphics will help a lot. Highest on everything is insane even for crazy gadgets. Genshin is so demanding 😰

My iPad can run highest and 60 FPS. It is balanced and doesn’t heat that much.

The mini is too small, it doesn’t have good enough cooling, the promax is way better as it has more gpu cores and more space to dissipate heat

This phone doesn't meant to get under heavy load u should lower some graphics i mean this game is crazy heavy even on ipad m1
