Juet chilling as your average middle schooler watching this with no knowledge about quantum🧍♀️
ОтветитьThe last seconds are super creative because the weirdest things will stay unknown, not even with IQ 1000
ОтветитьSome dudes just decided to sit in a lab thinking their lives away to make these theories. Like go touch some grass guys
ОтветитьBy the way, wasn't the explanation for Heisenberg's uncertainty principle fairly simple once you think about it?
So, you can either know the position or the momentum of a quantum particle, but not both. Why is that?
Position - to observe the position of a particle, you have to be able to actually "see" it. That means, it has to be interacted with by some force - e.g. a photon bouncing off of the quantum particle and reflecting back to our receptacle that can measure it, whether it's our eyes, a camera or whatever. And even though the force of a photon is absolutely minuscule, it's not 0. And, as soon as a photon hits the particle, you've already changed it's momentum. So you can't really know what momentum it had before.
I'm not a physicist, I'm just a nerd, and I can safely say I heard of the entire iceberg (not including the seeming joke ones at the bottom).
Yes, even the quantum healing bit. I didn't say I bought all of it. I've heard some pretty convincing holes pokes in string theory too so I'm skeptical about that one.
Nine lives poor kitties
ОтветитьI wish I was smarter 😭
ОтветитьEggheads turned sciencephile AI off
ОтветитьWhy couldn’t they use a human instead of a cat they are just mean 😢
ОтветитьWith quantum entanglement, could you achieve faster than light communication by the fact that when one particle is measured, the other one then collapses its superposition and use this as sort of an 'indicator'. For example, have a pairs of entangle particles separated across two spaceships in space. The first spaceship can signal when its reached its destination by measuring their particle and forcing both particles to collapse, the second spaceship could see that their particle has collapsed and knows that the other spaceship has reached its destination. They have transmitted information regardless of whether the particle was measured to have a up or down spin, but just with the fact that it is no longer in a superposition. You could go further can send messages by having hundreds of pairs of particles where each pair corresponds to 1's and 0's and transmit binary messages.
You can throw all this out the window if its impossible to tell if an entangled particle has collapsed without measuring it first. Kinda like looking at someone to see if they are looking at you only to see that they see you looking at them and you don't know if they looked at you first or they looked a you because you looked at them just then.
If each time a superposition is broken, another parallel universe is created; Won't at some point in space-time the servers crash ?
ОтветитьI don’t understand half of the things I’m listening. I love quantum physics
ОтветитьPerfect timing. Right as the video said “and now to the deep stuff” an ad played saying “how many subscriptions are you paying for”
ОтветитьI love how the ominous music came along as soon as string theory came up
ОтветитьObservers effect.
So you're saying when i see it its 2 when i don't its more? HUH?
So in short the observer effect is like how theres no food in your fridge until your mum looks
ОтветитьLove that it’s casually mentioned that light LITERALLY BEHAVES DIFFERENTLY depending on whether you’re looking at it or not, like that’s not one of the most mind-bending things to learn about
ОтветитьDoes that mean i was super interested in what i called physics was actually quantum physics!?
Ответитьthe observer effect somehow tells me that our consciousness has a much bigger meaning in the universe than just atoms interacting, like there must be something big going on if a human literally just looking at a quantum particle makes it do something
ОтветитьFeinmann is the quintessential science douche and if he wasnt hot we wouldn't be doing his stupid diagrams
ОтветитьI am no expert on quantum physics, but is not the Heisenberg principle stating that you could not observe the STATE of the universe or the quantum object, like you could mesure the momentum and position, but the point is, you change one or the other with the measurement, so you could not obtain those 2 information about the object from the same timestamp, AKA we could not observe the whole state vector, right?
ОтветитьI think its funny how people are fine with infinite mulitverse but have a hard stop at Consciousness.
ОтветитьGreat stuff. Scientists warry of woo woo interpretations about consciousness now emphasize that it's about the information existing (e.g. right or left slit), that the collapse occures even without a conscious observer as long as the info physically exists. Assuming the computer holding the left-right data file itself isn't conscious ... well, this is awkward.
ОтветитьTo me, parallel universes seem like a continuation of the simulation theory.
If you were running a universe scale simulation and you wanted to see all possibilities of a particular interaction, then wouldn't you want to be able to see every single possibility?
I'm just thinking out loud here.
Interesting video :)
Ответитьi feel like a genius for already knowing all these theories while simultaneously worrying about all my pending work lol
ОтветитьHold on just a second, is this to imply that my $120 mail away course to become a certified quantum mechanic wasn't actually worth the cash? The University of Science is highly respected isn't it?
ОтветитьBeing aware of everything you do sucks....
Like when I'm about to do move my hand, i think of me moving my hand knowing the exact place where ill put my hand it just puts me into a state of reflection and makes me late for everything
I would love a more detailed explanation of the observer effect
ОтветитьI got one right here cz I was just thinking about this in the video. If the "observer" is the thing that required what makes up matter(quantums and stuff) stable, then the universe will be all chaos before the first life that can detect anything was born. However, if the entire universe was to be in that chaos in the first place, then how is it possible that life will be born out of it because life requires stability to form.
ОтветитьI just hope i can a quantum computer 😂😂😂 i don't need to understand how the universe work i just need to live in it the best way possible 😂😂
Ответитьpetition to make a video explaining quantum chicken nuggets
Ответитьthe space in the deep water after the iceberg is distorted thus creating the possibility of there beeing infinte more crazy ideas about the universe
ОтветитьFunny thing is we will never truly know which is why GOD (spirit) wants to explore every single timeline hence why we create what we envision. We really are being controlled but we can still make the most of it.
ОтветитьWhat if once we uncover all the secrets of the universe, it destroys itself only to be recreated more nonsensical than before. What if this has already happened countless of times
ОтветитьMy basic understanding of quantum physics made me believe its just some supreme force or being that trolls us for shxts and giggles
ОтветитьHonestly how dare you make fun of deepak chopra….giving JEALOUSY
ОтветитьSo if I somehow stop an electron what are the chances that the world ends because there's only one
ОтветитьThis is the best video i have ever watched
Ответитьwtf is this shit
ОтветитьYesssss
ОтветитьEver heard of the quantum penis? Theory has it that guys who don't go to the gym have it and that it has a speed 3 times that of sound and screams "no" when u give it a protein shake
Ответитьthis video is pissing me off its fantastic its just i dont get it and im not focusing and researching about topics in the vid
ОтветитьQuantum mechanics is the Satan science.
ОтветитьAre you 26?
ОтветитьWhat are we taking about again?
Ответить
