SAT® Math: Hard Questions EASY Hacks

I have SAT in two weeks

im so glad im turkish. We solve these questions at secondary school. bruhhhh

This testing environment is so useless and does little to accurately gage how inept a student is in a real learning environment because all of this information is monotonous and the notion that a single test can shape your future is ludicrous. The only reason it is in place is so colleges can stuff their wallets more instead of doing deeper checks on students

why do you need to use Pythagorean theorem. The angle x sine is 4/5, now just look at the other angle (value is 90 - x) in cosine is 4/5 as well.[ 20 seconds]

i am a turkish student and we learn all of these in year 9, these are pretty much basic questions for us. i feel really sad after reading the comments. not for the students, but for us, turkish students. unfortunately we have to study and learn all of these when we're 14-15. we get all into these troubles while we're just children. we have to solve these in 30 seconds because we take an exam to go to uni. if you want to go to uni you have to take the yks exam after year 12. if you're curious please search yks exam hard questions etc. :(

how are these hacks when it is literally the actual solution
hacks should let u instantly solve the questions
as my teacher once said, if u cant find the answers instantly within the first 3 seconds
u wont have enough time for the exam(not sat)
only real dumb ppl tries to fully answer a choice question

and how he did isnt guessing nor some kind of other identities
he simply knew that the other choices were wrong instantly
on calculus choice questions
which is also a final exam on the final year of highschool where im at

Wow! I'm surprised, I'm from Peru and the math questions of the San Marcos exam are literally 5 times harder.

Okay I don’t know how , being a 11th grade student who studies in an Indian high school, I was able to solve both the problems within 10seconds ! Lol

With all due respect, these questions are too easy. I solved it in a few seconds without using a pen :)

literally the two questions u chose as "hard" isn't even worth the word hard, i can solve 'em with just one look😅

I don’t care if SAT’s aren’t made to trick you, they are made to go against you. Imagine trying to take it with severe anxiety, you’re too anxious to focus at the begging and then by the end you’re too exhausted to focus. And you have to sit for a long period of time, which doesn’t always help focus- some people need movement.

As a student in Turkey, these are the easiest questions i’ve ever come across. Compared to what we solve...

I am from Peru and I thought english exams were the hardest.

But this is so easy wao :D

first q : 2 power 3 x / 2 power y = 2 power 3x-y = 2 power 12 (from given eq) cuts down a whole buncha steps
second q : sina = cos(90-a) and cosa = sin (90-a) same for all other tan-cot and sec-cosec

Wait the thumbnail is like hardest questions but the question in vedio are done in 6th standard of my school😐😐

for people living in turkey like me, those type of questions are the ones that are the easiest we are dealing with

Well, as a Turkish student who will take the TYT and AYT exam this year I honestly laughed my ass of to the questions you guys consider as hard. I’d give these questions to 8th graders who will be taking the LGS exam to go to a good high school and they wouldn’t even be needing a pencil.

for someone who didnt understand the first question, consider x = 1, and make a solution set, so u get x = 1, y = -9, substitute 2^y with -9, then use the exponents rule which is 2 ^3x+9, we know x = 1 so we get 2^3+9 = 2^12

Was this even a question? If SAT gives such questions then I am sure I will get 1600/1600 ( in maths). I am Student who is aspiring for JEE. Maybe that's the reason I don't feel these questions hard.
