One of the better Audi RS 3 reviews. Our 2019 RS 3 is now at 48,335 miles of which
34,710 miles has been fast country back road runs made 3 days a week as weather
permits. Only change we made was to install 245/40/18 tires on Neuspeed alloy
18x8.5 wheels (fitted with Michelin AS3+ tires) which was a major improvement
during our fast country back road runs. A great vehicle indeed and one of the best

So to counter understeer.... they put thinner tyres on the back, how ridiculous is that. Not only does it just sound and look wrong but it's a bit lazy

FYI the tuning guys In Germany have broken 200 mph with the AMG 45s. Turbo, Intercooler and remap only. No internal mods!

I wish BMW had an answer to this in the form of RWD 1M hatchback in 2023.

wider tires on the front is a thing from the beginning of RS3. it's just a sign how bad they engineered this car. I doubt that this generation is a real good car. BUT! it improved of course. 
I had the first gen. myself and it was the worst car I ever had. my sister had the second version which was sh***y aswell. I'm done with Audi. only one I really had fun with was the first gen ttRS.

Funny thing is this car sounds better than the new C63 AMG

Would take a GR Yaris or Type R all day, shame they are both harder to obtain.

In fact, go grab Johhny Smith (Late Brake Show), and make a recurring once/twice a month 45-minute cheap car challenge with the three of them in it.
I will watch every episode.

Picked up mine last June. The engine sounds like a symphony when in RS Performance mode. After driving it for about 6 months it is hard not to stage it. I’m just worried about affecting the warranty. 😅

Oh yes, the seatbelts, they drive me to the brink of madness every time I speed through the switchbacks over passes or the tyrolean alps. Annoying. Got a TT RS and same belt problems. Perhaps the only remarkable downside of this car at all. At least I am lucky of not having an e-call system on board, which constantly independently connects to the emergency call center when speeding around. Car's five years old, no GPF, no e-call.

And I still rather an RS mk2 or mk3

I'd have to buy an aftermarket tracker and ghost immobiliser among other theft prevention additions if I wanted to daily this car. As a 6'3" brown guy I'd be a magnet for jealous car jackers and criminal gangs.

Why are most RS3 reviews of the Sportback? The sedan is an infinitely better looking car in my opinion. In this case I get it because you are comparing it to the A45 AMG. To my eye the Sportback’s dimensions are just weird. As a 3 door yes but 5 doors? No thanks. Magnificent car in almost every other sense though

If you could only have one car and you were 30 yrs old with one kid and a wife and a home to run this car would not be on your list, its too small.
So why does it cost so much that most guys can't afford it until 30 and most guys at 30 have responsibilities similar to above.
Then let's say you save from 30 to 33 for a nice new car. The Audi that would probably fit best is rs 6 but you probably still can't afford one unless you are doing really well financially.
Then at 36 to 38 you have 2 kids in school so sports cars just don't cut it anymore and you have to settle for a Toyota Rav4 Prime. Toyota understands life 👌 that's why they sell so many cars.

Why does the Audi suffer so much from understeer? Why dont the mercedes and vw they all are hot hatches, wirh lots of power with 4wd ?. Can someone explain a bit further pls what makes them so tricky

So in other words, the Audi is a geek fest, and not as fun as the A45 S which pre-dates it by almost 2 years.

Sad that the Audi TTRS did not live long enough to share this tech.

This Rs3 is obviously an amazing hot hatch, but, let's have it right..the A45S will still disapear down any B road....

Absolute shame this isn't being released in Canada.

The number of folk on here drinking the manufacturer cool aid is unreal. Fastest doesn't matter in the real world, and I'm going to hazzard a guess that not many contributing have ever driven either car. My A110 is 8 seconds slower round the hallowed ring than my last gen RS3. RS was a blunt instrument that hammered the road into submission whereas the Alpine dances over it. The only car I think is more fun was my 205 GTI! Buy what makes you smile, because ring times don't mean sh*t.
