Wasteland Horde Night 42 - Apocalypse Now Mod | 42 | 7 days to die | Alpha 20

This was all very splashy and impressive (especially the way you just shrugged and shifted over to the hammer at the end), but I couldn't help hankering for the simple days of being terrified by a walker and sneaking about in the dark. I've watched quite a lot of mod series recently from different people and I think I'm done with them for the time being.

Oh wow that was intense Horde night lessons were learnt you defo need higher walls like was mentioned, but love that liquid sunshine have had to use it a few times to stop me from dying plus max out in run and gun

Ah, the Katy Perry Defense. Perfect for large pits.

Instead of putting the walls higher, maybe put a sloped block/ramp piece, or a plate/bars or a half block around the outside edge. Would that prvent zombies from being able to jump up, or were they getting up because the explosions were launching them up to there?

You could also build a plate block/bar wall around the ladder and put another door on that to prevent a surprise attack from behind. Another idea is to put a halfblock on the outside of the pit wall so it sits down a half block from the top of the block so that you could put a sledge turret there to knock zombies off if they breached all the way to you, then you'd have another fighting position and you could hop between the two sides of the pit wall to make the zombies have to shift paths and more could get knocked down into the pit.

Bullet proof glass blocks the solar last time i looked although it may have been changed with this mod. Iron bars shouldn't and the cube with 1m hole lets light through regardless of how its placed or what it's made of.

i notice in the horde nigth that zombies climb the blade traps to get the wall

Away to solve your bottle neck, put the electric trap, that is on the outside, put it on a switch. So you can turn it off on horde visits. Now just wire inside the pit normally. When it turn morning, and you were outside the base , I was saying “run Forest run!!!!!

For the pit, I would also put a plate on the front block for redundancy, also any mod that prevents regeneration in every weapon you have, including turrets.
Also maybe extending the front corridor to tunnel them a bit before they get to the pit with electricity to slow them down so you can use your nukes better, this hordes are no joke!

That was crazy omg! Ramps out for animals might help too. U might not need higher walls but bars to look down and to stop them from stacking up. I think u killed the turrets tbh and u will be shocked to see the other 20 rockets on the workbench lol. Also maybe a double door system

Also I was going to say before I saw it but you should have put like hatches or something where you're fighting so zombies can't get to you if they get up catch the spider zombie I figured he would jump up there and sure as s*** he did I was not expecting them to get on top of each other and hop up there I mean I kind of did but didn't think of it until I saw it but I was thinking about the spider zombies hopping up there and I was going to suggest putting hatches up that way let's say you're busy dealing with something else that way it gives you a second do realize that there's a spider zombie at your feet and you can take care of him so he doesn't get to you

Yo you should put a electric fence right in front of the cock Knockerz by your front door. That way the poundies will be able to basically hit any zombie who tries to come knocking. Even one would be plenty to stop the zombies from knocking on your door.

That was fun! I look forward to seeing the next horde. Not sure if you've already started or have any plans for your next series, an option you might consider, War of the Walkers. I've been watching Guns, Nerds, and Steel's latest series, he's added some extra mods into the mix, he's got a pretty good story with it too.

no scary flying things yet for A20 , maybe for A21 version ;p
