Can someone help me? I have something stuck on the speaker part of my oled switch. In the back with the screens. How do I get it out?

It's funny how much these videos are helpful in so many ways. You would think that people watched this video out of curiosity, but there are TONS of useful information here. I for once am here because I was looking for how much of the frame around the screen of the Oled was part of the screen itself, and when you unglued it I had my answer. Keep up the good work, and THANKS!!!

can the oled screen be put on the non oled switch

I happened to start using my switch strictly handheld because I was moving when I got my oled. I’m really glad I did, I hardly use it docked anymore and defitnt worth the upgrade with how much it’s used

It’s absolutely astonishing to me that the Switch works as well as it does considering it’s about 1/15th the size of a PS5 or XSX

I have to say, I hope that whatever the new console is, it's even easier to repair for amateur people. If anything, it would help both consumers and Nintendo to make it such, as it would help spring electronics shops nearer to consumers, and Nintendo could work with them to make repair times lower (if instead of sending it to who knows where in a centralised repair "factory", Nintendo has deals with stores in your state/province, the travel times will lower, emissions will as well and you'll get your console back sooner).

it would have need nice to see them switch to hall-effect joy sticks, but at least there are still gulikit replacements

So why is my switch so slow after 6 years

The free joycon replacement thing is only in USA. When I emailed them as an European they basically said "bend over" lol

has anybody experience a switch not detected being dock and only charges on wired usb C on 1 side instead of bi-directional? what did you do to fix it?

i did the trick of putting a small piece of cardboard under the joystick on the joycon and haven't had drift ever again since then (it's been two years since I did it)

In my case, I have never experienced Joy con drift ever since I got my switch over 4 years ago

The Zelda TOTK special edition got me to finally pull the trigger on the OLED version. Had the original since launch date and even got a second one so I could mod my first one, but that OLED screen is stunning.

So this is as repairable as the Steam Deck? That seems kinda unfair. Valve was much more accepting of right to repair and encourages you to fix it yourself if you know how. Nintendo still want control.

lcd screens should no longer be produced. it’s a crime to release new tech with lcd screen in 2023. just use oled everywhere

So does the OLED still suffer from certain issues (especially with V2) such as cracks developing near screws, bending from heat when docked (believe it's been confirmed as a myth?), rail issues, fan issues, scratching when docked, and such? If the build quality is better and prone to less issues then that makes 350 and a cheap OLED Samsung screen a bit better to swallow.

As someone who now owns a Steam Deck I must say the Switch Pro needs to have a heavy upgrade in order to compete. Especially in the screen and audio department. 60hz needs to be standard on the Pro

Changes to durability can also mean they used less durable ones. You know to sell more of them :D

I can’t seem to find the answer to this question anywhere on the internet. But for the protective film on the front of the OLED panel. Is it possible to replace? I bought mine used and it looks like the previous owner made the mistake of trying to take it off. One of the corners is bubbled up. So is it possible to take it off and replace it and where would I find a replacement?

Just a little reinforcement? I'd also prefer for nintendo to keep to nintendo and go for the super switch name

Owned an OLED for a week now. Unlike V2, OLED model does get warm when both dock and playing on hanheld mode. I miss my V2 already. That thing cooling performance was extremely good.
