Tikka CTR 308 553 yards

It would be nice to have an update after some years of shooting. For instance, to test dispersion, how did the CTR hold 5 or 10 shot groups?

Nice shooting. There's always a flyer. Just throw it out and count the four best. Nobody makes any rules on how you have to do this.

How much does a 10 rounds magazine for a CTR cost in the US?

That's a slick rifle. I'm leaning hard towards one. Does it come with spacers for the butt stock? I'm a tall guy. Can really only get comfortable on a longer stock, and a cheek piece. Half of that is covered. I need to call around and see if I can find a dealer with one in stock.

Cold bore has nothing to do with the group you don’t get to fire a bullet into a bank when your elk hunting or any other kind of hunting it’s more a cold shooter problem I always include my cold bore shot in my load development and my rifles shoot half minute or better if the y don’t it’s me the monkey behind the trigger that’s messing up the shot

Great shooting! That group on camera just got you one more subscriber. I am really impressed with my two T3s. They both have the light contour barrels and still maintain pretty good five shot groups.
I haven't had a chance to try the CTR but I may get around to it. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoy your videos please keep uploading.I'm sold on tikka the only problem I'm having is deciding which model to get the ctr seems like a nice rifle but the stainless hunter is attractive to me as well. It's a good problem to have I guess, great shooting take care.

Awesome rifle, got the same. Took it out to 300 yards the other day and shot a 1.5inch 3 shot group. Very accurate with the right ammo.

What's the internal length of the Magazine?

After a ton of research (videos and reading) I'm strongly considering purchasing the CTR in 308, but I have a question I'm hoping either you or someone else could answer.

What is the benefit (if any) of choosing the stainless barrel over the standard?
